Rick came out, was very pleasant and completed the job. After they left, I took a closer look at the replacement work and didn't like the way it looked. It seemed unfinished. I called Batton back, was able to speak with Rick who explained that the bad fit was due to the old age of my plumbing and new age of the fixtures. He came back out, at my earliest convenience, and engineered a fix that looked a lot better. He was just as pleasant as he was on the first visit with no additional charge.

I was eager to work with them until they billed for the initial estimate. I had verified over the phone before they came out that their trip charge was $79, so when they presented us with a bill for $125, I didn't understand the discrepancy. I addressed my concerns with Mark, the owner and person who completed the initial estimate. I told him I understood my cost for an estimate would be $79. He advised me that he was also billing for the time that he spend determining the source of the water. I didnt think that was fair. I told him so. He remained professional but refused to remove the additional fee. I paid them the $79 that seemed fair and will find another plumber.

It went very well. Batton Plumbing did a fantastic job. Reasonable rates, clean, professional, efficient. Delivers on what is promised. Would highly recommend.

The price reflects, primarily, the cost of the replacement unit. The labor was a smaller part of that. This is the second work Batton has done for me and they are now my plumber of choice. They're familiar with this condo, older St. Pete plumbing, and specialty toilets such as my high-pressure one. Plus, they're easy to work with and very personable. I don't feel like I'm being taken for a ride. I recommend them very highly.

Our house was built in the 1920's and any repair is difficult. This was a leak in the house's original cast iron plumbing, leaking whatever went down our kitchen drain into the crawl space under our house. As usual Batton responded promptly and quickly repaired the leak. They had to crawl under the house and work in very tight dirty space to do it. I like their cheerful  "can do" attitude and fair price.

I have lived in this old house for 25 years and I have dealt with 5 different plumbers in that time. Batton Plumbing has been my plumber of choice since 2007.They have always been prompt, professional and cheerful and have always done an excellent job at a fair price. In my opinion, you can't find a better plumber.

He was terrific. He worked steadily, cheerfully, and helpfully. His work and demeanor inspired a lot of confidence. I was terrified about what the price might be for all those parts and labor but it was quite fair. I had researched the Gerber website and this plumber was the only plumber they list in this area they recommend. I checked Angie's List and they were one of the very few plumbers who got As in everything, including Price! I will definitely be using them for future work.

Great.  I called and Rick came out same day on the Friday before Christmas.  He was informative and prompt.  Fair price of 50 dollars for service call.  Would definitely recommend.

Batton Plumbing Co. are professional and reasonable. If you have an emergency they will find somebody to send to you. They are excellent. I will highly recommend them to family and friends. I will continue using them.

We called the answering service for Batton Plumbing and within 45 minutes they were at the house. It was  determined that when they had installed this spigot about a year and a half ago, that they had not let the adhesive set long enough and therefore, the pipe had separated from the spigot.  So, after about a 90 minute work period in very hot outside weather with a difficult access to the pipe, it was  repaired. The cost, NOTHING. He said that since they had not done the work 100% correctly when they installed it, there was no charge for coming out and repairing it.  This is the sort of integrety that has made Batton our plumber for the last 25 years. We have a house that was built in 1925 with a major addition put on in 1986. Batton has been our plumber since and has corrected the mistakes made by previous plumbers. We can always count on them for a quick response and quality work.  We can reccomend them without any qualifications.

Arrived at promised time, very efficient and neat.   We are new to the area and it is nice to know I have found a plumber I can count on should any plumbing problems arise in the future.
