Aquaworld Pools

Initially, I was very happy with David and aquaworld pools. His concept was great. His price was fair. BUT... as the work started , there were several major issues. At first Dave was somewhat responsive, but then he stopped returning calls. I have given him several attempts to rectify his mistakes, I even told him about a negative review I was planning to submit (I have given him a year out of fairness because I do not like putting negative reviews on companies), he has not returned any calls to either his personal cell or business line , thus my review. The issues are several:1. The quartz surface is terrible, it immediately streaked and is discolored . It looked like a tie-dye shirt. I have called the manufacturer and apparently aquaworld is not a listed provider, and the installation was done improperly, thus voiding the warranty. 2. The salt system he installed broke after 8 months, I have no paperwork and no recourse with the manufacturer. 3. The plumbing has continued to leak since installing. 4. Waterline glass tiles have delaminated and fallen off. As said before, I felt that all could have been fixed by Dave, but he has chosen to take the money and run, he did "try" to fix the surface one time by draining the pool and scrubbing a small area, then refilling it...all that did was leave a very obvious area that is even more discolored! I have since had the pool redone by a local -large pool company. It looks great now, it cost an additional $13,000! I was told by the other company that " they clearly did not know what they were doing@. Please avoid aquaworld pools and Dave Snyder ,

My wife and I had done some research on the types of pool remodel finishes and costs but quickly found out that there are so many types of finishes and a wide range of costs and many different opinions from pool service contractors. After several estimates from different pool contractors we felt overwhelmed and still not certain what we should do. We continued to call contractors thats when we had the opportunity to meet with the owner of Aquaworld Pools, Dave Snyder. From the 1st time we met, he was so professional and knowledgeable. He was the only one that offered to show us jobs his company had done. Other contractors had only provided a list of addresses and phone numbers to call on our own, which to us, seemed uncomfortable. From start to finish we never felt any pressure. Their employee's were courteous and hard working. The work was done in steps that were listed on the contract and was followed just the way it was written. Through the whole process Dave answered our phone calls and questions. The Aquaworld Pool Company and Crew did an awesome job on our pool, deck and equipment. Also, the start up of the pool pumps and chemicals was done for us and explained clearly, making the anxiety of never before having to maintain a pool completely bearable. Our experience and investment with Aquaworld Pools was one we are extremely pleased we made. They went above and beyond what we were expecting and was obvious they take pride in their work, striving for perfection and concerned with our satisfaction. Thank you Dave, & crew.
