Mr. Amick came out found the problems and set out the traps. We were going out of town and due to family problems had to stay longer than planned. But he came while we were gone to check things out. Thank goodness he did, because a rat was trapped and if he hadn't came to get it, our house would of stunk when we returned. When I called the office to find out how things went, they were very courteous and had the service man call me back with in a day. Very helpful, friendly, and at a good price. Hopefully we won't need this service again, but any other pest needs and we will be calling Amick and son, inc. Thank you guys.

These guys are honest as the day is long. If you don't need treatment, they'll tell you that you don't need treatment. I imagine the reverse is also true. Very professional and courteous, and very knowledgable on their subjects. Would use them again in a heartbeat!
He came by to inspect some old termite damage that we discovered inside of the walls of a bathroom we are remodeling. Some of the 2x4s looked like shredded cardboard. The house had been treated previously for termites, and he recommended definitely replacing the 2x4s, but no termite treatment was required unless live activity was found. I highly appreciated his honesty.

I have had no problems after they came out! They are always out here the same day after I call, if not the next! They are always very professional and prompt!

We have used them for 15 to 20 years. They are the best. He is personable and funny. We have become good friends. He comes out every other month and does the attic and outside.

I got a little special pricing because the gentleman that my parents have used for years had passed away, and this is kind of where his accounts went to. The pricing was very reasonable for being an old client. The family kind of shopped around to see who they would turn all of the accounts over to and this is who they came up with, so I went ahead and tried them. They have given me the same service that they gave me prior to the technician passing away and the service that my parents had had for years. They are always on time. They are always there when they say they are going to be there. The technician that I currently have had had an appointment come up, so they called me and rescheduled it well in advance so that I didn't have to adjust the schedule on my own. One time I had to cancel a couple of days before with a doctor's appointment that had come up, and they immediately got me right in with the next slot.

We have been using them for years. We have a contract with them for termite control. They have a website. The pest control is separate from the annual termite treatment. I think it's $52 every other month and $300 a year for the Centricon that they use for termites. We have a big yard and we always have termites, so it's well worth it. They are dependable. They never try to rip us off or anything. We always feel safe when they're in the house. Their services work, it's reliable. They bring little bones for our dogs. The same person has always been coming out through the years, so we've gotten to know him. They are not a fly-by-night. I would encourage people to hire them. I pay them a whole lot of money. It's not a cheap service. We wouldn't be using them if they were not good. We have never used anybody else. I'm sure there are services that are probably cheaper, but that has never been a concern. If we have a problem and we call them, they would usually come out the next day. We are a good customer. If there is something that we don't recognize they would come out the next day and usually tell us what it is. If it is nothing to be concerned about then that's fine. If it's something that needs to be taken care of then they'll start on it.

They met me at my house to look at the insects. They were honest about the problem being carpenter ants instead of termites was very courteous. He was very well-dressed and professional. He even gave me the option to fix the problem myself if I wanted because it was something I could take care of on my own. I asked if he wanted me to pay him now and he told me he would invoice me and if I could pay within 30 days that would be great. Very old school and impressive.

Dick from Amick has been coming to our home every other month for approximately 20 years. He is completely trustworthy and, although most of the time someone is home to let him in, he does have a key to our home. He is very kind, is understanding with our family's quirks, and even greets and spends a moment with the cat and the dog. Most importantly, Dick does a thorough job and is in and out of the house promptly. One year we had a sugar ant problem, which Dick solved quickly and to my great satisfaction. Breck Amick came to our house last year, inspected a tree, and diagnosed dry wood termites and, then, gave us helpful suggestions on a couple of other areas he observed that needed attention, all without charging a fee. Amick and Son provides excellent service - you will find them to be reliable, professional, and courteous.

We used to have termite and pest control service from Terminix. Every so often they would announce yet another great breakthrough in termite control that would be superior to the previous great breakthrough, at a new price. We got curious about this and did some research and came to the conclusion that much of it was mere hype. We contracted with Amick initially for termite protection. Instead of spraying all around the house or placing green plastic doodads in the ground every few yards, Amick made a thorough inspection, looking for termites or termite damage. How thorough? They crawled all through the crawlspace (and found some water damage that we did not know existed) and found no termites. They periodically check again. We trust them. They also come to the house every other month to spray for various critters, inside and out. They are always pleasant, punctual, professional. And locally owned. This is a superior company offering superior service -- and peace of mind.

The technician that came did not know how to address the issue precisely. The owner came out himself every day until the mice were gone. He caught four and made sure he cleaned up every time he was out. If you see any evidence of animals they will be out immediately at no cost to you.

Breck Amick again was extraordinarily thorough. He went into crawl space under the house, where no critter should go, especially in summer. He checked the attic. He discovered on a previous inspection that we had a major water damage issue under the living room; had he not found it, the whole corner of the house could have gotten so weak that the Christmas tree might have fallen through the floor. Today he detected dry wood termite evidence, but patiently explained why it would be better to wait until Fall to tent the house. He is the best, and he does not try to sell us anything we do not need the way, I became convinced, one of the major national companies had done.

I've been using their service for about 15 years and they are wonderful. He is always on time or even a little bit early. We trust him with the key to our home. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He is easy to work with and I would highly recommend him.

We're very pleased with the initial experience with Amick and Son and look forward to an enduring relationship with a local company that is thorough and caring.

THEY LEFT A DEAD RAT IN MY ATTIC AND HE CLAIMS THAT WITH THE LEVEL DECAY THAT HE DID NOT WANT TO REMOVE IT.
