I was referred to American Appliances by my realtor. I bought a washer and dryer from them and they fixed my dish washer on a separate visit too. I highly recommend. They are great! Friendly, helpful, not pushy, Fantastic prices, great products, knowledgeable. Easy to work with. I haven't had any problems with the work they did on my dish washer or the washer and dryer. I will be going back to them for any future needs!

Arrived on schedule, quickly diagnosed the problem as a blocked water line. The technician had to remove the back of the freezer from the inside to accomplish this. He repaired the problem, added a part that should prevent further issues with the drainage line, neatly put my freezer back together, and within 30 minutes all work was complete. I was comfortable having the technician in the house, and very happy with the price. I highly recommend this company, and will call them again when necessary.

They made an appointment to have someone come out the very next day to evaluate the problem. The repair man arrived on time and quickly determined that the dryer had a broken belt and a broken timer ... that took place on a Friday. The following Monday American Appliance phoned to to let me know how much the replacement parts and the installation would cost. American Appliance provided me with two estimates: an estimate using new parts and a lower estimate installing used parts. Since my machine is older, I opted to have the less expensive used parts installed. The same repair man arrived later that day and promptly and efficiently installed the used parts. The dryer has been working well ever since. I am extremely happy with the service I received and with the opportunity to save money because American Appliance had used parts available.

Excellent company to deal with. Salesman was very helpful in the show room and showed us exactly what we asked for. Delivery was scheduled for a Monday after purchase on Friday. They called first thing Monday and schedule a time between 9:30 and 12:30 and said they would call 15 minutes before delivery which they did. They were on time and the delivery men were courteous and very professional. Delivery men had to change power cords for stove and dryer which was promptly done. American also supplied braided hoses for the washing machine, so I was able to return those which I purchased. This is an excellent company and anyone in the market for used or new appliance should visit them prior to going to any and quot;Big Box retailer. You receive a 30 day guarantee and 23 month warrantee for service if required for service charge of and lt;$20 plus the cost of replacement part if required. It was very pleasant. They are very helpful and I recommend them to people all the time. Other family members use them as well and we are all very happy with their service. They also have good prices.

Tim is great! He has serviced all my appliances since I bought this home and service is excellent(I am NOT a pushover, either). This visit was a call back from one earlier in which I had water leaking on the utility room floor-Tim basically took apart the washer and then said that He though the water was from my A/C unit(next to washer)-He was right! He apologized for having to charge me the basic service all ($89.00)since he knew the washer was not the problem. Today, he said "No Charge" and told me that this particular part on the Whirlpool model is subject to being faulty-he said he had adjusted it, but that it might happen again and if it did the part was $80.00. But for now, I was good to go. Two years ago, I had issue with dishwasher-Tim told me how to go about finding out about the part warranty and we had the entire computer board replaced for free under warranty. He took the time to find out how to save me money. I only wish he did A/C!!!But that's a whole other story there!

I have been using American Appliance for about 8 years. I have bought all my preowned appliances from them. This includes; stove, refrigerators, washer and dryers. They give you a two year warranty on all purchases, and $29 service calls. I would recommend them to everyone. Most purchases were delivered the same day.

I called American Appliance, Inc on Wednesday 5/18/11 and set an appointment for the following day. I was told at that time that if time permitted the service man might be able to get to me the very day I called. Sure enough, I received a call later in the day and the service man came right out to fix my freezer. He was both professional and quite pleasant and fixed my freezer in no time. From the phone call to the actual repair job American Appliance exhibited courtesy, professionalism and expert know how. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and I will definitely use them in the future.

I called on a Friday and they provided service on a Saturday. They called Saturday morning and told me when they would arrive and they came in the time range that they said they would. The technician was personable, efficient and helpful.

I've been buying from American Appliance and owner Michael Thompson for years now since I have rentals and buy and sell homes quite frequently. Many times, I want used appliances but really good quality ones. Other times I wan new ones or more average used ones. Whatever it is, Michael either has it or keeps looking for what I want. Their prices and delivery service have been great, and he has a longer warranty on used appliances than I've seen anywhere else. Even his prices on new ones can beat the other stores.
