Albritton Roofing put the existing roof on my house 17 years ago.  It is a complicated roof on a 1920's house.  We used various roofing materials -- shingles, membrane and metal so I know they can do it all.  Also had to fabricate metal valleys and metal trim along the roof to wall areas.  In other words, I have had a lot of exposure to their work.  Florida has had tremendous rain in September 2014.  I had neglected to have my vulnerable roof areas caulked regularly and paid the price by needing the repair. Richard Stratton fixed it within a week of my call.  He works well with his crew and doesn't leave until the project is moving to suit
him.  This was a small job and finished in half a day.  
In years past, other building professionals have been on our roof and complimented Albritton's careful work.  Richard is a big man with a big personality to match.  He is careful and honest.  He is well known to other contractors, painters etc in our area.

Called for an estimate and the response was quick. The estimator came out, measured, quantified, and provided price.

Price was within the ballpark of other estimates I had received, but a tad less. Providing same quality of material, same time frame, and a variety of options available to me. I appreciated the personal customer service.

Job was done quick, foreman supervised work with minimal restraint, owner checked job several times, site was cleaned thoroughly.

Paperwork and guarantee provided w/o exception, including rebate provided by Duke for using Energy star shingles. (150.00 for use of properly commissioned product)

This is an exceptional contractor to use. I am pleased with the results.

The estimator met my representative punctually and called me to report his findings and his estimate.  The wait from the time of the estimate until the actual work began seemed long (about 5-6 weeks) which I did not expect. Apparently there was a lot of rain that season which delayed their work schedule.  Once they actually scheduled the work, it happened on schedule and as promised. They called me to give me progress reports during the job.   Photographs they took and sent me show the damage they repaired and the quality work they did.  The only problem I had was that I did not understand how long the wait would be for work to commence. My calls were always answered promptly and they were pleasant and professional throughout the process.  My cleaning lady and yard man both tell me that there was no debris left after the job was completed.

My experience with them was good. They were very professional and were on time. I couldn?t be happier.

The end result was satisfactory. They damaged a heater vent pipe and we had to have them come back several times to fix it. They did not resist fixing it. They fixed it with no charge. It just took a bit to get it arranged. Our main complaint is that they did not return calls.

They were professional and did a very job fine job for me. They arrived on time, did the job on time, and did it very properly. I was billed for the exact amount that they had bid. They interacted very well with me.

1. SALES TAX NOT ORIGINALLY INCLUDED IN THE COMPETITIVE BID PROPOSAL AND LATER ADDED. 2. CONTRACT WAS FOR TAMKO DESERT SAND 50 YEAR SHINGLES. 2 DAYS BEFORE SCHEDULED INSTALLATION I WAS ADVISED THAT ROOFING WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN FLORIDA. I SELECTED AN ALTERNATE MANUFACTURER AND COLOR. 3. ALBRITTON RECOMMENDED THAT RE-ROOFING THE FLAT ROOF BE ADDED TO THE CONTRACT. VERBALLY AGREED ON A COST OF $2600. NEXT DAY I WAS GIVEN BILL FOR $2800. ALBRITTON AGREED TO THE $2600. 4. DURING THE WORK, A SKYLIGHT WAS DAMAGED AND LATER REPAIRED BY ALBRITTON. 5. I HAVE HAD 3 ROOFING NAILS STUCK IN MY SHOES, 1 NAIL IN MY WIFE'S CAR TIRE AND THE OUR LAWN MAN HAS HAD 2 FLAT TIRES. NO RESPONSE TO MY COMPLAINT TO ALBRITTON. 6. BUILDING DEPT. REQUIRED 2 CORRECTIONS ON INSPECTION DATED 11/19/05.
