Angelo was punctual (he even called to let me know he could be there early if that suited my schedule...which worked out perfectly for me), professional and a pleasure to work with.

I called and he was out within the next couple of days.  He came out, did the work, and actually did an upgrade on the door.  The installation was done in one day and they came back twice to make sure it was working properly.

Called very early at 8am. Arrived exactly on time at 10am same day. Excellent service. Gave me 2 options for new spring purchase (I chose the more costly option for best quality). Finished job in an hour. Works perfectly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would not hesitate to use again!

Saturday 1pm. in closing the door automatically it stuck partially open and scratched the outside wood frame and jammed. Thankfully Angelo (the owner) answered his phone and came right over within 15 minutes. Other companies - even other A rated ones might have been more and quot;corporateand quot;companies would have only let us leave a phone message and then on Monday schedule an appointment for later in the week.

With A-Z Garage Doors and Angelo - we got IMMEDIATE and the best fix possible given our old system.

Angelo gave us a quote on replacing the door and system which would require some carpentry work which .... other companies wanted US to get another contractor for the carpentry work.

We will likely have Angelo replace the door and automatic door system. He insists on getting the permit that the City of St Peter requires which is a good sign.

A to Z and Angelo are above the Florida norm for service!!! So many times we've called companies and contractors and they never show up...maybe 20% show up in Florida. Or they show up and never call back with a price for thousands of dollars worth of work.

Great job! Not only did he fix the immediate problems with the garage door opener, he showed us that part of the cause was off-center installation of the opener. Angelo arrived right on the dot of 8 a.m. when he said he would be here, he worked quickly, he explained everything, he left the place clean - and we are hiring him to come back next week and make some additional adjustments to our very large, hurricane-resistant garage door (difficult to deal with because of its weight).

Angelo was very professional. He laid out all our options and didn't try to sway us in a particular direction. Install was quick and top notch! The door, which is very old, needed a few tweaks. Angelo came back twice and got all the adjustments done and it works perfectly now!

I used this company because when I was having some trouble before with a 40 year old door, he fixed the door for me instead of trying to sell me things I didn't need. The door lasted a couple of more years. The door that I got this time was a German engineered and American made, and everything has been working fine. He did a good job. The county inspector who came by said that the door was very well balanced. Also, because the door is so sturdy and high quality, I was able to get a discount for Citizen's Insurance.

I purchased a house and the garage door was installed by a different company. That company never returned my calls, so I called A to Z -- he came over the same day -- explained what was wrong -- fixed what he could -- FOR FREE !!! And gave me a quote for the other remaining repairs (these can be done later, what he did for free was sufficient to make the door work again).
He was 100% professional, courteous and explained everything he saw in lay-man terms so I could understand why the garage door was not working, how he fixed it, and what else needed to be eventually repaired.
When I put aside the $125 - he'll be the guy I will call to fix it properly !

The garage door wouldn't work, guess the electricity had gone off, and I needed to re-latch it then the car remote wouldn't work. Then smoke started coming out of the motor so I unplugged it and called Angelo at A to Z. He came out when I wanted him to and was on time. He said I had overheated the motor but everything was OK and I didn't need any parts. What an honest, knowledgeable and nice man he is. Since I've had him out before he gave me a break on the service call fee.

Garage door, although relatively new, was creaking and moaning during travel. Angelo diagnosed the problem, make a number of important adjustments, and returned the garage door to its normal operating condition... significantly more quiet than ever. Many of the initial adjustments were out of specification, or never installed properly in the first place. Unquestionbly, Angelo is highly knowledgeable and fairly priced for the services rendered. Most highly recommended!!!!

Overall I wish every project I have used contractors for went this smooth! Angelo, was kind and courteous and made sure we understood everything he was doing and knew all about our new door. One more thing he would not accept any money for removing my shelves (which took over an hour) he called it a favor!

Door wouldn't close correctly due to being probably 50 years old (guesstimate) along with lack of proper maintenance and botched earlier repair attempts in previous years (by other companies/handymen, not A-Z). Angelo was able to creatively mitigate existing structural and wear problems (including severe rust at bottom) w/in a couple of hours so now it is sealed correctly and operates properly, which buys me some time to continue using door on a regular basis while we analyze and decide on replacement doors. Have one of those challenging low ceiling 1950s block houses so prevalent in St Pete, Angelo was the only company out of 3 others I called who would take on the task, he clearly knows what he is doing, on top of that he is easy to do business with. I will be calling him back for replacement garage doors when the time comes, as this will be a custom fit job and he has demonstrated ability and willingness to handle. Prefer not to announce how much I spent on repair $ at this time, other than it was very fair for the time and expertise exerted.

He fixed the door and I was pleased I did not have to get it replaced. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

Excellent. The first company I had come out, I think the name was Precision Garage Door, was very honest and told me that the installation was beyond what they would be able to handle. This was a very hard installation because the garage ceiling is low and there is plumbing drains from two bathrooms above the doors. Angelo arranged for a plumber (reasonably priced) to come by to re-pipe all the drains so the garage doors would work. The plumber didn't think it could be don but Angelo worked with him to figure out a way to make it work. Angelo provided information on a German company that made the custom doors I needed for my problem installation and the price of the doors was very fair, especially considering the doors' high quality. The doors had to be shipped from Germany and Angelo kept in touch, and was very prompt about installing the doors when they arrived. Angelo started early in the day and worked well into the evening, and would not leave until both doors and door openers were installed and working. I needed to get the door frames replaced because of rot, so Angelo was not able to finish the trim pieces for the garage doors and weatherstripping, and to install the outside key pad. When I called Angelo and told him the door frames were replaced and ready for him, he was there the next day to complete all the work. I had already paid him in full so most guys would not have been so responsive. He ordered extra garage door electric controls for me and do an absolute excellent job. He cleaned everything up and I couldn't have asked for anything more of him. My neighbor was having a problem with her garage door, and when he finished mine, he went right over to her house and fixed her problem the same day, which took him another couple of hours unscheduled hours. He is also a very pleasant person and definitely a problem-solver. He is the best!

Received a call from my renters on a Sunday that the garage door was broken. Two wheels came off the track and they had propped it up. I called A to Z Garage Doors and he promptly came out-on a Sunday-repaired the door,properly aligned the door and checked all the functionality. He was prompt and professional. I couldn't believe I could get anyone on a Sunday! No extra charge either!

I had three other companies come out and give me an estimate on a garage door and they all said it couldn't be done because of construction that was in the way. A to Z found a way to get it done and it has operated for 2 years now. They were on the job when they said they would be, they did the work for the amount of money they said they would do it for and it was custom built.
