to our home. It rained in our home 3 times because he did not
replace the tarps when they got ripped and torn. He charged back the
framers for the amount of damage that occurred when it was not their
fault. They had to rip out the ceiling in the garage and another
bedroom because of the damage. We also had to replace the carpet. He hired someone to resheetrock and texture spray
taht bedroom. He never paid that sub as well as others. He also never
resheetrocked the garage. He came over every weekend and argued about
every little detail which took hours of our time. He tried to tell us
that we were getting cheaper door trim. When I suggested he read the
contract that he signed, that stated exactly what trim he was to
install, he accused me of ripping him off. We used an engineer that he
knew and recommended. The engineer put steel rods in the plans every 4
feet. Apparently, Mr Lamoureaux did not read the plans before making the
bid and was shocked when he came out to our site to find the rods approximately 4
feet apart. He yelled at his foreman who had to explain to him that,
this was how the plans read. We ended up hiring another contractor to
finish the job.
