The Sod Boss LLC FEI/EIN Number 83-0857926 On June 19th The Sod Boss LLC installed new irrigation and laid sod, however they did not grade the dirt as agreed and there is up to a 6 inch drop in some areas where the new sod meets the old. The sod laid surrounding the pool pavers sits so high you can see soil and roots nearly all the way around the pool. Both of our pool gates are extremely difficult/impossible to open (pulling and dragging over the grass just to get our gates to open) because they failed to grade. Pulling back the sod you can see several areas where irrigation pipe was left floating with no dirt fill beneath it before they laid the new sod. I have no experience in sod laying and therefore asked our landscaper to come out and inspect our lawn. He informed me of how bad our installation was and that the contractor should correct immediately including lowering irrigation pipe (it currently sits directly beneath the sod, and in several areas that he inspected dirt was not filled in so pipe was floating under the new sod with no soil surrounding it . I reached out to Sod Boss again by email and phone multiple times, each with a promise from Kathy that Spencer would call me or stop by…but nobody ever showed up or called and then they stopped taking our calls altogether. The lack of communication and willingness to walk our property and discuss what occurred with the owner is extremely unprofessional. I would hate for anyone else to be taken advantage of by this company. After 5 additional phone calls and 5 emails have been made requesting meetings and/or restitution by regrading our lawn properly from The Sod Boss LLC, and the fact that they have not showed up for several appointments or been willing to return my calls, I'm requesting that The Sod Boss LLC refund us $2,800 or 76% of the amount we paid them, as this is the amount we had to pay another contractor to fix all the damage that they did to our lawn.
