Open Sesame Garage Door Systems

Our second time using Open Sesame, and we continue to be impressed. Punctual and professional, they got the job done quickly. We can always count on them to take care of their customers.

John was great, he came out Labor Day morning, did not have spring and offered to get door open to remove cars. Came next day right on time and left left about 8pm. We also had a new opener installed and that was my idea. I wanted a wireless system. John checked the door to make sure it was right.

Great. This is a very large and heavy door 22'. He fixed it and adjusted it and provided info on maintaining it. Very professional. Called me to verify time. Worked till 8 pm. This is the company you want.

John was very helpful and professional. He happened to be available when I called him because of a cancellation and he took care of my problem very quickly. Not only was John punctual, polite and knowledgable, he also installed a reinforcement bar to a weak area of our garage door, saving us money an major headaches down the road. I described the problem to him over the phone, and he was able to diagnose the issue right away. He gave me an estimate, and stuck to it. I greatly appreciated the care of a small business. Furthermore, I truly appreciated working with an honest company that did not try to up-sell more services or products. I will recommend him to others in my neighborhood.
John also went out of his way to teach me how to lubricate all of the garage door parts so I wouldn't have to spend money again in a while. Businesses like these are a rarity nowadays.

They did a very good job. It impressed me most and really the reason I ended up selecting them because all the pricing was very competitive. When my garage door broke one evening it was stuck half way up and I couldn't get it up or couldn't get it down and I called them John from Open Sesame came right over and he got the garage door down for me so I didn't have to have the garage door half way up all my alone and he didn't charge me anything to do that. When I was home that night he came over and this was after hours and he took care of that. He is very customer service oriented. I would use them again in the future.

John showed up on time and installed the door openers and gave me a good tutorial on the workings of the units. Great job at a reasonable price.

My garage door suddenly started malfunctioning and halting with the door about halfway down. I tried to fix it myself and after a limited amount of attempted diagnosis, I decided to get professional help. Good decision. John diagnosed the problem almost immediately - which was caused by a power outage. John explained the how and why and made arrangements with my wife to come back with the replacement part we needed. His return was punctual and our door opener was repaired, tuned up and back in great shape in no time. I will definitely be calling John the next time I'm having issues with my garage door.

Good service

My garage door stopped functioning recently, so I began calling a few companies from Angie's list to get quotes. When I spoke to John at Open Sesame, he spent about 10-15 minutes just explaining to me my options, without trying to up-sell me on anything. He quoted me a flat rate over the phone, which was very reasonable, and told me exactly what to buy so that I could get it installed the same day.
John and his partner were very communicative, courteous, and did an excellent job installing the new garage door opener. Once again, he did not up-sell me on anything, and basically told me and showed me everything I needed to know.
I would hire them again no questions asked, and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks!
