Nelson Air Conditioning and Heating

So disappointed with Mike and this entire experience. First time homeowners, bought new unit Nov 2019. Have a loft upstairs that was 88° (daughters room) Mike had disconnected the dual zone and dampers during install. After installing upstairs stayed hot, unit never shut off, Mike returned >10 times to manually adjust dampers, change thermostat, clean drain, clamp on blown off duct (that he swore wasnt the issue). We were told it's to hot outside for the unit to keep up and cool the house and that's normal , he refused to reconnect dampers to see if that would possibly help with the issue...Then We were told ducts will need to be done, add more ducts ...We asked for cost and a month later finally got back to us,we agreed stating ONLY if you guarantee that this will fix the problems...We have called Mike to schedule the job and never heard back.. I'm laid off from my job, room still 84°, A/C always at 74°,$5260.00 later....Awful buisness to take a customers money and leave a job incomplete. 2nd opinion came out and explained that Dampers and board being disconnected and rigged totally screwed us and now we are out another $2600!!! Thank you for everything ?

Fantastic! Mike saves the day again, in a matter of minutes. I bought a recently renovated house in mandarin and the AC wouldn’t shut off and had to be cycled by the breaker or the house would freeze. Mike diagnosed the issue in maybe 5 minutes and had it working perfectly. He’s helped me 4 or 5 times over the last 7 years. Always just an hour away and phenomenal service. Highly recommend!

I can?t say enough about Mike.  He impressed me from the first time that I spoke with him on the phone, and his overall job performance impressed me even more.  I have been looking for someone to replace both my A/C units for 2 years now, and haven't met one that I could feel as though the honesty, integrity and hard work would all add up.  After the initial visit, he gave me what "I" wanted based on the needs of the house, not what he wanted to add on to make it more costly or not meet the situation required for my home.  Mike is a hard working pro who I refer to anyone personally.  He completed the job at a reasonable cost, had it done in 1 day without taking a break, and has continued to support all of my follow-up questions.  Dont hesitate, trust Mike as he is an honest broker who is not a part of big company looking to rob you blind for things you don't need.

Mike Nelson is a real pro who can be trusted with your house keys. Will never use anyone else.

Our unit went out on what felt like the hottest day of the year.  We obtained estimates over the phone and Nelson AC and Heating was the lowest.  This is a very professional company and extremely clean.  The attention to detail was extraordinary as faulty wiring was found that could have caused issues with our new unit.  We received a courtesy call the following day (which was a Saturday) to make sure everything was running well.  I highly recommend this company.
