Christine Lee Team- Keller Williams

The Christine Lee team held the listing for a short sale in Jacksonville. I put an offer on the property through a buyers agent in the same office that held the listing. 6 months later nothing had happened on the sale -except the property deteriorating significantly. My agent said she would send me a weekly update and that the in-house attorney was communicating with the bank every 3 days. I found out that the attorney is NOT in-house and I got no moraddressable few unsolicited updates on the status of the property during the 6 months. As we were getting tired of waiting, my realtor said the bank was asking for updated documents and that was the delay...should be any day now. When my spouse called 2 weeks later, she gave the same reasons, including the same updated documents. She then added for the first time that the bank may make a counter offer. She must have forgotten that she had told us that the price we offered was already approved by the bank when we made the original offer! I have no confidence that the attorney on the file called the bank regularly for updates and certainly not every 3 days as promised to us. Wouldn't we have received updates every 3 days had that happened? In short, despite what they told us repeatedly, we don't believe that they were our advocates for the property. And since we could not talk to the bank or attorney ourselves, we were stuck. That was the end of our relationship with the Christine Lee Team.
