About us

St. James Automotive has been serving the Greater Pine Island area for over 30 years. First, starting with Bruce Conrad who ran St.James City Chevron into the late 80's, and then continuing the tradition was his son Rick Conrad, who set the St. James Automotive standard of excellent service. Now, long time employee of St. James Auto, H. Scott Martin, has been handed the keys. Fellow employees Charlie Summerall and Vinny Cicchino (who are long time friends and natives of Pine Island) will work hard to maintain the standard of excellence set by Rick and his father. Our Mission: To continue our tradition of going above and beyond for our customers and providing the best automotive repair in the area.

Found a leak in a vacuum hose and replaced the hose.
This is not the first time I have used them for auto service as he has serviced my Dodge truck since 2004 and has always been fair and honest with all work. I can highly recommend them for auto service.

I use their services for all my auto repairs and have always been very satisfied. Always on time and professional. Scott goes out of his way to satisfy his customers and is very honest. He is the owner, and administrator but doesn't mind getting his hands dirty to get the job done right and on time. All qualities that are hard to find these days.

After some difficult diagnostics the drive shaft was determined to be the worn part causing the clunking noise. A new drive shaft was obtained and installed and the noise is gone. All of the other items were completed perfectly.

Not only was the work performed in a timely manner, I was driven to my house and picked up when work was done to go back to the shop. Everyone is professional and friendly.
This was my first time at St James Automotive, referred by a friend. From now on, all my auto work (and my husband's truck too) will be at this establishment.

Amazingly, we made an appointment for the service and they were exactly on time to perform the requested service. This doesn't happen that often at automotive repair shops. We were pleasantly surprised. They checked all fluid levels and tire pressure as well. We were in and out in approximately 20 minutes.

Took the 2004 Astro Van in for numeous repairs and maintenance items. Each item was done to my saatisfaction and at this point all seems OK. I have had work done at St. James Automotive for 19 years now and I have never been dissatisfied. When and if a problem arises after a repair as occaisionally happens they take prompt action to resolve the problem. Pricing over the years has alwyas been fair.
