MANGO TANGO TROPICALS

Mango Tango has good plant / tree stock, but the owner is kind of like "Reverend Jim" from the television series "Taxi" i.e. a bit flaky. As a result, work happens without a work / project plan and seems to be whenever it is convenient for the owner. Most (70%) of the plants are doing well, but we have lost a large number of plants in the large bed where the drip irrigation system was installed. Suspect part of it may be due to frost with some plants, but lost a large number of plants due to the drip irrigation system they installed not working properly. When I contacted the owner recently to ask for some help on diagnosing problem and fixing it, he came to house for a few minutes to check things out. When I followed up with him on fixing problem, he offered to give me parts for the drip system as opposed to actually fixing it. The work was done 9 months ago and obviously they take little pride / offer no warranty on their work. Very disappointed as we are not hardscape / irrigation professionals and that is why we hired Mango Tango Tropicals to do the work. We would have expected some follow up / warranty on irrigation and problem imt caused by not working. As a result, would not recommend using Mango Tango for actual hardscape or installation of landscaping. If you choose to, ensure you have a workplan agreed to in advance and you get guarantee in writing for work done especially in irrigation matters.
