The short version: the process went smoothly and we are over the moon with our new kitchen. Design: Tom's many years of experience and suggestions for the design of the cabinets was invaluable. With a custom builder, you will enjoy the freedom to build things the way you want and make the best use of the space you have. We were able to add lots of special features like a wine rack, stemware holder, lazy Susan's, pull outs, a large shelf, organizers... His service extended to helping us fabricate custom countertops. We wanted a stainless steel countertop in the "L" part of the kitchen and for a reasonable price he built the plywood base for the countertops and delivered them to the metal fabricator then brought the finished counter back. He also installed the countertop. It was big, heavy, and difficult to put in (especially with the large sink that was welded in) but he was helpful beyond the scope of the installation. The quality of his construction is impressive. He only uses the best materials and we think the cabinets look great and will serve us well for many years. We needed recommendations for demolition, drywall, plumbing and electrical and he was happy to refer trusted vendors for that work as well.
