He wanted a deposit upfront. He showed up with wrong size and style vent and he was trying to install it improperly. I asked him to either do the job right or give me the money and leave. He told me that I didn't have anything in writing. I went in to get the receipt and when I came back out he was gone. He won't return my phone calls.  He claims he works for this company and I contacted the owner which is his father and he said that was his son and he hadn't worked for him in 5 years. I found out he has been operating without a license. The father said the son said he would return my money which he never did and won't answer my calls.
