Problem located and fixed.

They did a good job and all is good and everything. They were close and they had good reviews. They took care of all the mess. We were pleased with the work.

Mr. Ashcraft is a man of integrity and highly competent and professional.  He does what he says he'll do and he does it well.  He answered all of my questions patiently and politely (and I had plenty of questions).  He also installed our home theatre system several years ago and has updated equipment and wiring periodically over the last 5 or 6 years or so.  He knows we are on a tight budget, yet he tries his best to accommodate our needs and always succeeds.  He asks for no money until the job is completed, and there's never been a reason not to pay him or to withhold any amount.  You will not go wrong with HTI and Mr. Ashcraft, and he will take care of you in the future if and when you need him again.

Carl is absolutely awesome. His response time was incredible.   He and his assistant installed our system without creating a lot of mess.  Carl purchased a new multipurpose remote that runs EVERYTHING, TV, Blue-Ray, home theater, Direct TV.  Finally, one remote that does it all and actually fixes problems we create by pushing the wrong buttons!  For the work that Carl did, the cost was more than fair.  He spent a great deal of time installing the system and programming our remote, as well as training us on how to use it.  We will use him for any needs we have in the future and hope that everyone else will as well.  Thanks so very much, Carl.  Things are working great.

I needed to my home theater speakers set up and run a cat 5 cable all going to my bonus room on the second floor. I have experience doing this and attempted to do it myself but because of pitch of my roof and the runs going to an exterior wall it made pretty impossible to do  without proper tools and a helper. I contacted and received estimates from three different contractors. Because of the lay out of my house Carl Ashcroft suggested ceiling mounting the speakers and pvc conduit on outside wall to feed wires from attic into bonus room. I chose HTI because of pricing and reviews. After 2 weeks of negotiating and scheduling the installer arrived to do the job. The installer arrived on time (I thought was going to be Carl) and was very friendly and mindful of cleanliness since I had a newborn at the time. He worked really hard, it took him all day to do the job but in all fairness it was a two man job. The only problem was there was no signal on the cat 5 cable which I didn't personally check till after he left. Carl came out and installed an A/V power line ethernet adapter (at no additional cost) after not being able to get signal. So I was a little disappointed that they couldn't get signal because I'd rather a hard connection just case the device fails. So I'll troubleshoot it myself, probably just error of wiring on rj45 plug. Other than that it was a clean install, everything looks great.

Carl was great.  Helpful with good ideas.  There were a few things that I thought would work and he talked me out of, which in hindsight were great suggestions on his part.  And one thing he tried to talk me out of, I didn't listen, then when he did it my way we turned out not to like it.  Without any hesitation Carl took back what we didn't like and re-installed it in a way we preferred.  He was great to work with, as was his entire crew.  The entire system works great to this day and we are really pleased with the final product.  I would not hesitate to have them back for the next project or recommend them to a friend.

Carl answered or returned all my calls asap, very professional with a good sense of humor.  Very patience in explaining all aspects of the install and how to use one remote for all equipment.  He was meticulous in his work and cleaned up as he went along.  If you all agree on a range of time he will most likely be at the tail end of the appointment which worked but I like the front end.   Although I think it was expensive - for the work and time put in it was worth it and I would pay it again.  It looks great!

Five stars is not enough for this company.  The whole team that worked here was fantastic.  They immediately adopted the practice of taking off their shoes in the house.  They brought along a little shop vac to clean up any dust that they made right away.  They were very professional and respectful... so much so that my husband and I were able to continue working in the house right along side them with no problem.  It was complicated installation as we have a two story home, but they installed each of the cameras beautifully.
More than that, they went over and above the contracted work.  They were installing a system which I had purchased independently, and when they got the thing set up, I realized that I'd like the main dvr in a different location... it was the sort of change order that I would expect most contractors to charge a fortune for, but HTI just charged a nominal fee for the change.  Not only that, but I had a completely unrelated issue with our music and speaker system... they ended up fixing it and charging me nothing!
They quoted price for the installation was almost identical to the two other quotes that I got.  But for that amount, we feel that we received an extraordinary value.  Since they also do electrical work, I have saved their number and intend to call on them again.

He installed four ceiling fans; and removed two wall hung lamps prior to the installation of wall mounted bookcases (by a cabinetry contractor).  Carl reviewed the existing home theater for possible needs of service or upgrades; and programmed a new remote in the theater for satellite TV, VCR and Wii.  All of his work was very thorough, and his instructions and recommendations were clear and well thought out.  He is both an licensed electrician and an expert home theater designer and maintenance man.  We will continue to use him and give him an unqualified recommendation.

They were very efficient, explained everything, and cleaned up after themselves.

All installation of equipment went smoothly.  The only hitch was internet connectivity which was a problem created by Brighthouse but resolved by HTI.

A friend recommended Home Theater Integrators. Carl arrived when he said he would, with another employee, and after asking a few questions, started to get to work. I felt comfortable having them in my home, and I know they didn't sacrifice doing it the "easy" way, but they did what they felt was the best way, as if they were doing it in their own home. After they finished, Carl made sure I inspected the work and explained exactly what he had done, and why it was done the way it was. I was very impressed with the speed and quality of the work. Carl made sure everything was clean and you wouldn't have known they were even here. I would highly recommend this company for any of the services they provide.
