CN Romack

Everything went extremely well. I was in a bind and needed work done to my home that required an installation of a window into an outside wall. I’ve been struggling with finding the right contractor to complete the work, but then Mr. Romack stepped up and surpassed my expectations. He was honest and kind to my family. I’ve already spoken to him about remodeling a bathroom in the future.

Everything went well! CN Romack construction remodeled our Kitchen and guest bathroom for us. The quality of material and workmanship was excellent and everything was done in a timely manner. We would definitely use them again!

Very well. It was a difficult job. I am restoring a 100 year old house and we ran into all sorts of issues once we opened the walls - electrical, support, and just about everything else. Newley was always pleasant and dealt with multiple changes by the historic board. Took a little longer than we originally thought but that was the homes fault not Newley's. His crew have been great with my big Bernese Mountain Dog as well. Really nice to work with. Job turned out very nice.

Fair - poor communication, work was of good quality, except after completion and full payment we noticed a damaged tile in the shower and asked that he look at it and replace it. Have tried repeatedly since Sep to reach a resolution. Last contact was Nov 21 - no contact since, no resolution. Would not recommend.

The contractor, Newley, has been paid in full with the assurance that he would complete the job and amend the poor workmanship. That was over a month ago. I have repeatedly called and texted since then. He has text back twice, saying he would call, but never has. The remaining work is critical as I am unable to use the loft addition without A/C. The vanity installation is not complete. There is bare concrete and exposed bolts where the footer for the circular stairs was poured. The interior walls/ ceiling job is of the absolute poorest quality with numerous major issues along with painting over window, electrical and cable outlets.

Newley Romack gave good advice on planning the project and connected us to quality fixture, tub, and tile vendors to choose from. His crew did quality work and were pleasant to work with. He brought in plumbers who did excellent work, including replacing the shower valve and all the old piping behind the shower and tub. Kerdi board was used for the walls.

Very well. CN Romack was highly attentive to project details and was very flexible when our remodeling plans changed mid stream. Pricing was very competitive with a completely detailed contract quote being provided prior to the initiation of the work with timely modifications as our plans changed. The CN Romack team was very versatile in handling carpentry, electrical, and plumbing jobs beyond the kitchen remodeling portion of our project. Their pricing along with diverse remodeling skills enable them to provide one stop shopping for all your remodeling needs. I would definitely use CN Romack again in any of my future home improvement projects.

CN Romack was one of three contractors to quote the job. Newly and Dave were very personable and easy to talk to about the project and what our vision was. Once we received our quotes, it was clear that CN Romack was the only one to quote exactly what was requested. We chose Newly and his team for this job. After discussing with Newly we decided to demo our bathroom and prep for the work to come. What we saved in labor cost was redirected to the cost of reframing the new shower enclosure due to old termite damage found. This set the crew back by a few days but they caught up fairly quickly and were back on schedule. Newly arranged all plumbing, electrical and glass installation. We only had to make sure we had all fixtures/valves needed on hand for the installation. Throughout the process Newly was very open with suggestions and ideas for design. This was a huge help to us and very much appreciated. The project started on December 4th and the finishing touch was the installation of the shower glass on the 22nd. Our bathroom now feels like our very own spa and looks fantastic. We are very happy with the work done and look forward to having Newly help us with our next project. I had a 288 sqft deck installed by the guys at CN Romack. All of the work done was of exceptional quality and extremely prompt. Mr. Romack was a pleasure to work with and so were all the guys on the crew. The work was completed ahead of schedule and a bit under budget. I would definitely use CN Romack again for future home improvement projects.

A big thank you to Newly, Brandon, and Dave. All of the work done was of exceptional quality and very prompt. Brandon and Dave were very prompt and hard working. On top of that nice guys to boot. Newly the owner is very personable, friendly and courteous and all three are dedicated to their work. When I thought I needed a new door, i bought one and they even picked it up at the store. Once Newly saw the door he suggested I 'not ' put it on. He informed me that he could just take my money no problem, but he was being honest in saying he thought the door I already had was a better door and more secure! He was being honest. Hard to find these days. That says a lot about the man and the company. How many contractors are looking out for your best interests? Not many. Well CN Romack is one of the few. For as much work I had done it was more than reasonable. I would not hesitate to hire them in the future and plan on doing so. He even didn't get mad when my 10 pound Killer Multi-Poo white dog almost took off his marbles. Truly professional in every respect. Even the dog has a big smile on his face. (see pics).

CN Romack did a superb job on our bathroom. Our vision was brought to fruition. The added assistance in considering options from Newley enhanced what we had envisioned. They made sure that everything was done to perfection. We felt comfortable with them working in our home. We do not hesitate to recommend CN Romack.

All of this work was done or coordinated by CN Romack and his crew. Newley and his co-workers, Dave, Brandon, and Aaron, did an excellent job. We were very pleased with their progress, professionalism, and finished result. We had to go out of town for a week and felt comfortable enough with this group to allow them to continue working on our house while we were gone. We had several instances of changing our mind on some aspects of the design or adding additional work but Newley and his group were always accommodating. All of the renovations are beautiful. We would definitely recommend CN Romack for all your remodeling needs.

It was a pleasure to work with Newley and his crew. We are pleased with the result. I wish I had some before pictures but we didn’t think of it, you can see the end result in the attached photos. One of the things I liked is that Newley only uses Kerdi in shower/bath areas; he recognizes that it’s a product worth spending the extra money on. Put the money in the unseen as well as the finishes for the best result. I appreciated that. He helped us out financially by letting us do some of the demo and allowing us to hire a painter directly. He told me upfront that there might be a few days they weren’t on site once we started but not too many and he held true to that. He was here when I expected him to be. All of his subcontractors were people he knows personally and were also very nice to work with. His Dad does great wood work. I did a lot of research before starting all of this remodeling to the point where I basically just knew enough to be dangerous and Newley handled my questions with ease. The whole team reassured me throughout the project which was helpful. They even came back weeks after the technical end to make a few changes at my request and install closet shelving that wasn’t ready when we were first done. Top rate guys, nice, easy and a pleasure to work with. If I can find the money to do what I want to in the kitchen I will give him a call.

Repairman arrived a few minutes before scheduled and completed the work in a timely fashion. Very satisfied.

Newley did an excellent job transforming our dated standard feature bathrooms into functional showcases we can be proud to own.  My wife never felt uncomfortable or threatened with his crew in the house, and they worked with us to find a schedule that was convenient.  While not everything went perfectly, Newley stood behind his work and made sure we were completely satisfied, even when we found things after payment.  He was easy to work with, flexible, and did such a good job we hired him to do our spare bathroom and exterior paint.  

All services were top notch and we would definitely hire him again.

Newley and his team did the following...  Totally demo'd the tub/shower area and removed old tub - Moved the plumbing from the left side of the wall to the right side of the wall - installed a new porcelain tub - removed the header and made ceiling flush with the rest of the room - finished the ceiling - added water proofing backboard - installed tile to ceiling - sealed the tile - installed new plumbing fixtures - new light fixture - installed a seamless glass door - painted ceiling - painted entire room.

Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and they even cleaned up after themselves.

We are very pleased with the finished project.

 

Newley and his crew were awesome! They remodeled our guest and master bathroom. They all were extremely hard working with wonderful personalities. Both bathrooms look great with all quality materials. They are quick and they help your vision become reality.

Newley Romack, the owner, came out multiple times and met with me to give estimates of cost. Admittedly, I kept asking for more and I could immediately tell that Newley was trying to figure out how to make the project cost effective for me. We initially started off with just wanting the non-functional master bathroom refinished. Once we talked to Newley it seemed appropriate to also update our guest bath. Our intent was to rent out the house, but we really wanted to spruce up the bathroom well to make the house attractive to renters and easy to maintain. Anything I asked for would get a response of, "I can do that" or "I have a guy I can get to do that" from windows to painting to tiling.
Newley put us in touch with a contractor supplier to buy the materials. He measured out the quantity we needed and we were able to pick out whatever tile we wanted in addition to all the fixtures we wanted. They were originally on track to have the job done a little over a week after receiving the materials.
Unfortunately, when completing the Demo, the crew noticed existing termite damage. I got an immediate text with descriptive pictures. I was bonded, but Newley was willing to repair the damage for a nominal fee or wait for my bond to take care of it. I foolishly decided the bond should cover it and started a drawn out process to have the repairs done. In hindsight I should've taken C/N Romack up on the offer to repair it themselves. (I think it would have been much more timely and a better job overall.)
Once the damage was repaired, the crew did an amazing job tiling both bathrooms. They actually damaged one of the tubs we were going to reuse when they were doing the demo. WIthout any question, the tub was replaced with a new one at no additional cost.  I also made a mistake in which fixtures were purchased for the home and they went and bought proper versions and had them installed without skipping a beat. 
Communication was generally very good via text messaging as well. I got the feeling that there was a lot of care and craftsmanship going into the remodel.
Overall, we love the look of the new bathrooms. We are absolutely proud to show the house to potential renters and we would definitely recommend and choose C/N Romack again.

From start to finish everything went great. The start date was around the 9th of November we were told two months and the remodel was completed right on time.Newley Romack and his his team are wonderful. He really does listen to his customer. When an issue would come up it was always taken care without any questions. When you are doing a remodel things will come up unexpectedly. We've worked with other contractors in the past and C. N. Romack is the only contractor we will use for our future projects. Thank you Newley, Brandon, and Dave for all the hard work you put into my place.
