Description of Work: We had a leaky roof and after signing the contract, Nick secured the leak right away even before they started to replace it. Other companies DON'T do that. We we're so happy not to worry about the rain in the forecast. The other company we thought about didn't do that and although they had good references, there was a very screwy contract that takes much of your deposit should you charge your mind within the three day legal time frame. Neligans was straight forward and they didn't even take a deposit. They are honest! As it turned out, Neligans had an opening and our roof was replaced within a week. This was just a month before Hurricane Irma hit and it held up wonderfully! The designer color we picked stands out and gets compliments all the time. We added the extra underlayment and the wind mitigation was done quickly. The crew and crew chief Juan, were amazing. Neligans has some of the hardest workers we have ever seen. Nick was great to work with. The review asks about cost but not the size of the house. We have 2,800 SF and upgraded the warranty and underlayment. Others might not do that, but the weather and heat is brutal in Florida, so we felt better paying more.

Description of Work: After reviewing 8 roof quotes, it came down to 3 companies and Neligan was the #2 pick. The reason why they weren't #1 was the extra cost of the shingle company extended warranty for labor and manufacturer's products, and the cost to use a water tight peel & stick the winning bidder included in their final price. Very professional from dealing with the owner to the lady in the office. Never sounded like you were dealing with people that were fly by night. I would recommend them at least as a good starting place to get accurate information on roofing materials and discounts you can receive on your home insurance based on receiving a wind mitigation report. They offer may options, but I wanted the best and their price for that was just too high compared to the winner.

Description of Work: Needed new gutters. Contacted them based on reviews to give an estimate. When I got them on the phone they acted as if I were a bother and said they would call back. Never got the call. This was a real job. I spend $2500 with another provider I found on this site.

Description of Work: This was the only roofing contractor, of four we had bid, who went up on the roof himself, and gave an honest appraisal of the situation. He then went beyond that to take photos of roof damage we were not aware of, to assist us in getting an insurance reimbursement, as well as arranging to meet with our insurance adjuster/appraiser, to make a statement as to the extent of and repairs necessary to revert those damages. All this before we agreed to sign him on as our roofer. The work was excellent, expedient, and very competently done, at a price lower than that of the other bids.

+ -1 moreThis was one of the best services we had in that the roofers showed up on time every day, went to work right away, and just got the job done as it was supposed to be. Even when it rained, they were very professional, got the roof covered up before the rain came, and got back to work once the rain stopped. It was a very positive experience for us.
Description of Work: Needed to replace my roof prior to hurricane season. Neligan had a great selection of colors and qualities and explained the differences. They also provided samples which are required by my Homeowners Assn to obtain advance approval to change or upgrade anything on the exterior of your house. During the roofing process, a heavy rain was expected so they covered the roof up so it wouldn't leak and Neligan gave us his personal cell phone # and said if there was a leak, even in the middle of the night, to call right away and he'd come out and fix it. The roofers were neat and quiet (no radios) and polite. Except for the rain delay, the job was done within the time estimate and cost what he said it would. We are extremely happy with the new roof and give our top recommendation to Neligan Construction.

I chose Neligan Roofing initially because of his professionalism and because he was highly recommended by a friend who had some interior remodeling done by them. My friend lives in the Riverside area and had French doors installed at the wall between her kitchen and dining room. I was very impressed at the workmanship, it looked like the doors were built in when the house was built. Beautiful!! Anyway back to my roof, the workman were there when they said they would be and tore off the roof and replaced it in a timely manner. I was most impressed at how neat these roofers were. I have 3 small children who are constantly playing outside and liked the fact that they were extra concerned with making sure that there were no nails or roof debris left in the yard. The finish product looks great and most importantly, dry. With all of the rain we have had I'd say job well done Neligan. :)
