Mullins Builders, Inc

Living in Tall Timbers, MD, in good faith, we entered into a contract with Dave Mullins who presented himself as having over 30 years of experience building private homes both in NC and for the past 20 years in FL.  We paid Mr. Mullins over $800,000 to built our dream retirement home in South Ponte Vedra, FL.  Instead of enjoying the last few years of our retirement, we have been living in H*** the last 3 years.  Mr. Mullins did not want to hold his suppliers and subcontractors responsible for their defective products and workmanship.  The St. John's County Building Inspectors allowed Mr. Mullins and his subcontractor to install the exterior doors and windows not meeting the St. John's County Building Code which requires that builders follow the manufacture's installation requirements.  After three years of living in H***, which is still ongoing, because we can not afford to make the necessary interior repairs, we learned NEVER to build a house in Florida and especially in St. John's County.  The Florida construction laws do not protect the citizen/homeowners, the laws are VERY protective of the Contractors and Suppliers.
