Everything was smooth, the crew was very responsive and we were very happy with the result. They even said they would return with a truck to collect the cardboard and wrapping to use for other movers who were less fortunate.

The owner is eager to please and Holly in the office is super responsive and beyond helpful. The field staff was very careful and took great pains to make the move with no damage to our much loved antiques. And they did all this at great price!

STOP SEARCHING... This is the mover you want and can trust. Minorcan is by far the very best moving company we have ever used and we have used many. The comparison is being made to several national and local companies. They go above and beyond to be of service, available, attentive and supportive throughout the entire process. This last move was from Tampa to San Francisco. Everyone on staff works professionally in a very warm personal and family friendly way. We have one more move from Tampa to San Francisco planned and Minorcan will definitely be our choice.

arrived on time walked through condo to see what needed to moved and got immediately to work. very polite and worked practically non stop to get it done in minimal time my only complaint was half hour into working he said he made mistake on start time of 7:45 should have been 8 and when done took a minute to wash hands, get drink which threw the time over 2 minutes that I paid for (evidently in 15 min increments) after left I realized start time wasn't changed and the extra on end. next time I'd pay attention to this but in the end I was pleased with the company, employees and service

It was a fine, normal experience. The service ranges depending on how much stuff you have, but I felt my price was reasonable. I didn't dislike anything about them. I called, asked them to move us and they did.

Minorcan moved our furnishings on 2/2/13 to storage. At first everything seemed fine. After a while though I started seeing pieces being taken out to the truck and not wrapped, as promised. I went out to the truck and questioned them and was told not to worry that once they get to storage they would removing everything from the truck to wrap properly to store in the bins. I expressed my concern but they assured that everything would be fine. Our furnishings were stored for approx 2-mths. When Minorcan brought our furishings back in April the following items were damaged:
1) Buffet - the bottom rack was totally broken off and they literall carried it in that way. I was sick. Craig apologized and assured me that they would have it fixed and I would not be able to tell that it was ever broken. Well, the repair seems fine; however, the repaired part was painted over in and quot; whiteand quot; and the piece, which matches my dining room set, as well as a wall unit, is and quot;creamand quot;!! I was assured that they would correct this...after calling several times - I am now being told by Sterling, the Owner that the repair was done and and quot;it is what it isand quot; so they would not be doing anything about it. I am furious!
2) The 2-drawer lateral file cabinet, which is Florida Desk Furniture and extremely heavy, was brought back damaged. Looks as though they dropped this piece at the warehouse and tried to repair it. I was assured by Craig that they would take care of the damages. As it turns out...they are sending me a check for $18.00 saying that it was approx 30lbs in weight and they pay $.60 per lb., per Sterling, the Owner. They damage my furniture, do not bother to properly weigh the piece for damage compensation.... and that's it!
3) Bookcase top to credenza, which is also a matching piece to the lateral file cabinet. I literally watched them drop this when trying to place it on top of the credenza. They dropped it so hard that it came apart. They were able to put this piece back together okay.
4) King size bedding, which is in absolutely new condition and top of the line bedding. When they returned the bedding one of the twin box springs cover had a slit in it approx 2and quot; long. Craig once again apologized and said they would definitely compensate us for this as well. A ccording to the Sterling, the Owner....they are doing absolutely nothing about it!
I am extremely upset over the lack of concern and care of our furnishings that I received from the Owner of Minorcan Movers. It's like and quot;oh welland quot;. In fact, Sterling's exact comment to me was and quot;what do you want me to do about it?and quot;
Beware if you decide to use them.

They were accommodating, efficient, and careful.

Arrived prompty to give us an estimate. Encourage us to get other quotes. We decided to use them. They arrived with a 5 man crew and the Owner and his son also arrived to superivse. We did not use their packing services, I did it myself. Used them to pack and move pictures, mirrors and furniture and the boxes I packed myself. All items (excluding boxed items) were wrapped in clean moving blankets and then shrink-wraped. They were very careful to avoid banging anything into the walls. There was no damage to anything.I have moved 15 times over 35 years and this was the best movingcompany I have delt with.
