Perfect! Windows arrived before anticipated! The crew was very professional, prompt, clean, friendly and even fun! I shopped around for prices and Master Craft met my lowest offer. I felt they were the most professional and experienced. When I encountered a wood frame issue with one of the doors installation they were able to recommend a local repair man who was very reasonable! I did check with Angie's list first and in spite of their rating I felt the owner addressed the issues the "angry owner" expressed. The windows look amazing from the exterior! A very nice job! I highly recommend them!

Moved in to our new house on March 24, 2008.  On August 21-23, 2008, Tropical Storm Fay hit our area and windows and doors failed.  Extensive water damage which took until February of 2010 to repair at a cost of $200,000.00.  All exterior doors had to be replaced.
Response from Master Craft Window & Door, Inc.

"[member name removed] fails to explain the entire story. The high wind impact rated doors in his home exceded the Florida building code. The design of the home is much like a boat. Approximately 50 feet fom the median high tide ocean front construction zone. Even the greatest swinging doors can have a problem in the record setting rain and wind amounts of Tropical storm Faye. The door manufacture immediately offered complete reimbursment for the complete price of the doors, and Master Craft's insurance carrier was on the job the first week, and covered the repairs caused by the doors to his home. I am not sure what else we could have done. Gary Fitzpatrick, Owner"

They are prompt and professional. The windows came in when they said they would. They did a great job. The price is fair.

Shwinco manufacturers windows and doors that meet the Dade County requirements. I purchased Shwinco doors and windows through Mastercraft Windows and Doors, Inc. in St. Augustine, FL. In the fall of 2007, one of the stationary panels in a three-panel sliding glass door began to cloud up. I assume it is because the double glazed door has a leak in the seal between the panes of glass. I contacted Mastercraft and that started a series of calls, promises and delays on the part of Mastercraft. First, they had to come inspect and I would have to pay for the trip which I refused to do. Then I had to be home so they could measure an exterior panel. In 2008 I called the manufacturer and was told I had to work through Mastercraft. Then I called and was told someone would call me back. This sequence of (call-call back) continued for over a year. Late spring 2009 I called again and was told a crew was in the area and would be right out to measure. Two laborers showed up and measured the panel in question. I was told at that time "someone would get back to" me. That started another round of call-call back. Everytime I called, I had to leave my number, for almost three years. I visited the office and talked to Charlie and Jeff and was told they lost the measurements and would have to re-measure. I told them I saw how it was done the first time and no one had to be home. They (supposedly) measured and contacted the manufacturer and ordered the replacement glass panel. Should be just a few weeks, I was told. A month later another series of call-call back started. I was forst told the panel had not arrived. Then I was told the panel would be here on Thursday. Then I was told it wasn't on the truck. Then I was told next Thursday and some one had to be home for the actual replacement. Then I was told the panel arrived but was broken and they refused delivery. Then I was told the panel would arrive on October 1. My wife took a vacation day for October 5, 2009 having been told the panel would be in. On Thursday I was told the panel hadn't arrived but would be there on Friday, "tomorrow". I reminded Mastercraft my wife took a vacation day for the following Monday to be available for the installation. I do not anticipate anything getting done. Mastercraft, Charlie Wilde and Jeff ? have refused to stand behind the manufacturer's warranty even when told I would pay for the labor, which I don't believe is my responsibility. I was told I had to pay for the trip to measure. These items have a 10-year replacement warrantyf from the manufacturer. Mastercraft answers the phone but always "we'll have to get back to you. What's your number?". That is a totally apparent stall tactic. Having to measure a glass panel in a standard three-panel door is a stall tactic. Willing to pay for a trip called the bluff of another stall tactic. The replacement will be on the Thursday truck is a stall tactic. The panel arrived broken is a stall tactic. (they "refused delivery" is concealing the evidence that no panel ever arrived) The constant call-call back technique indicates Mastercraft is unwilling to honor their/the manufacturer's warranty. Mastercraft was very attentive during the initial ~$20,000 installation but it seems once they left, they are gone for good. I would give them a "A+" on the ordering, delivery and installation process but an "F" on customer service and commitment to customer value.
Response from Master Craft Window & Door, Inc.

"[member name removed] has quite of few details, but not all are acurrate or complete. 1. Master Craft is a window dealer, and not a manufacturer. We had told [member name removed] the warranty is only covered by the manufacturer. In this circumstance the Manufacturer he chose from us was on their way out of business in 2007 and we were trying to get them to cover the glass. We were not giving him the runaround we were trying to help. However the window and door business has lost about 40% of its manufacture's during the housing recession and this was one of the unfortunate ones."
