We purchased a deal from Mark Howell Painting through Angie's List. Mark contacted us and we arranged for a day that worked for both he and us. Mark arrived, with Sherman Williams Paint, and got right to work painting the trim in our home. Mark's work was professional, neat and looked great! He took time to prep anywhere that needed it and did not drip or spill a drop anywhere. We are very happy with the workmanship from Mark Howell Painting!

Mark was terrific and very professional. He has many years of experience and it shows. He was meticulous, removing all hardware and pictures, keeping edges straight and baseboards nicely masked, cleaning up as he went and leaving me a very happy client. I would definitely refer him to others and rehire him.

Mark is the best real house painter in FL/St. Johns county area. His attention to detail of the prep of the surface to paint is amazing and the final product of a perfectly applied (not sprayed) paint is perfection. He will exceed your expectations!

"I have done previous work for this customer without a review, and they were happy with my work without any problems, and had done the exterior of a large over sized garage big enough to put a bus sized R/V into a month prior to this new job customer requested that now I am being graded on. If customer was unhappy with my work why did they hire me for another job. And I do not know what this review is for customer said she was happy with the work when she handed me my final payment or I would have corrected any problems the customer was unhappy about that my company did,and there were none."

"The work was completed on 2/26/18 not 3/3/18 and no more work was needed and customers husband gave me all A's on 2/26/18 do not know why customer is now saying I do not return calls or messages. I returned all calls and messages to this customer. and no more work was ever asked for or done after customers husband left all A's for this same work on 2/26/18. My company should not be given this bad review for something my company did not do. Plus my company did no work for this review that says work was completed on 3/3/18 the work in question was graded with all A's by customers husband on 2/26/18 and closed on that date this is a bogus grade."

We highly recommend Mark Howell. After speaking with a few companies for estimates, he was the most responsive, personable, knowledgeable and professional. We received a lower quote from another company, but we had the most confidence in Mark. He did not disappoint. His work is flawless with perfectly straight lines, detailed trim work and our walls are smooth as can be. From prep to clean-up, it's obvious he takes pride in his work. The best painting company we've ever hired, that's for sure.

I was on a tight timeline. Mark arrived on time, began work immediately and maintained the schedule he promised even though he met with multiple "historical home" difficulties. He worked Friday afternoon, most of Saturday and finished Sunday afternoon. Mark was very professional and met all my expectations. The walls are beautiful! At the end of every day he made sure to clean up so that we could maintain some ability to function (kitchen remember). Would absolutely hire him again.
