It came as a surprise to them that I expected the windows to be wetted and squeegeed, which was done (as far as could be reached comfortably standing on the floor) in the living areas. My husband, who is over 80 years old, brought in a ladder for them to use so they could reach the transoms comfortably. The ladder was never touched, and neither were the transoms. Imagine my surprise when I found the large row of windows in the Master Suite to not have been washed at all and looking a mess with big motion marks. The bathroom floors were to be steam cleaned where necessary per written proposal, implying to me that at least they would get washed, but most of them did not even have a close encounter with a vacuum.
The entire "cleaning process" took 2 hours and 30 minutes. I have no problem paying dearly for great work, but in this case the money spent was a total waste.
$110/hour is a proud sum to charge to clean -- and it wasn't even clean!Licensing
