Overall the work was eventually done well but it took much longer than expected. We signed to start the process at the beginning of October and the salesperson said they would start in a week with roof, then move to the windows and soffits. Well nothing went as smoothly as it should have. The roof was finished at the end of October and they waited two weeks for the soffits and gutters. When I asked about the windows they said that they take 3 weeks to get in but weren't ordered until the end of October. The windows came in the week of thanksgiving so they weren't started until the first week of December. While putting in the sliding glass door they realized they had ordered one that opened the wrong way. They made everything right eventually and it looked fantastic but it was a much larger pain than it should have been. To top it off the salesman said he would help fill out the paperwork to get an energy rebate because he does it all the time and as soon as the job was done he ever returned an email again. I went with a big company and paid more because I thought they had the resources to complete the job on time and provide the customer service that may be needed in the future but I learned my lesson the hard way. I should have went with a smaller company where the head aches would have been more expected. I would not use them again for anything other than a roof but it was the highest estimate I got at $14000.

Collis Roofing out of Saint Augustine was the only (out of four?) roofing contractors that promptly took my call, scheduled an inspection, gave me a competitive quote, AND showed up to do the work. First of all, what good are great reviews -- which some of their leading competitors have -- if you can not get them to do any or all of the above -- specially actually doing the work. Second, I found their knowledge and workmanship as good as any , and their responsiveness and professionalism better.

We first contacted them in March of 2015.

Per proposal - remove all tile and underlayment down to decking, replace all damaged decking and underlayment, make repairs to flashing, install tile.

They showed up and did the work in a 3-4 hrs. I should have been suspicious at that time

Had the same leak, with the next major rains, contacted them several times, before they came. Again, did some repairs and told us it was fixed. Less than 30 min this time.

Leaks continued, again had a hard time getting them to come back. Finally came and poured some sort of sealant on the tile. Looks like white gunk, another roofer took a picture and showed us.

Our area is covered by their St Augustine location. Spoke at different times to Mike, Natalie and Paul Ginter who is their manager. They just don't care. Probably to small a job for them. No pride in their work.

Hired Collis roofing to re roof the house. The decision was made to go with them party because they used the type of shingles I wanted. The project went OK with minimal delays and I am satisfied with the final product. I did have trouble with service after the sale. I did not get calls back.

The techs arrived right on time and went to work immediately. There were two leaks--One in the garage; one in the dining room. The techs identified the problems, made the repairs and told me I really needed a new roof. They said they would arrange for another Collis rep to contact me for that estimate..
