tree service
+ -1 moreIt stunk. I asked them to trim the ligustrum in my yard. I said to keep it off of the house, as some of the smaller branches were getting close to it. I also wanted the whole thing trimmed nicely. First, they did trim the stuff that was starting to rub against the house; however, after they did that, they left as if they were done. I went out to one of the trucks that was still by my house and asked them if they were done. Yes, they said. I asked them what about all the scraggly branches that were sprouting out all over the tree. They wanted to know if I wanted the tree "topped", I said no, I wanted it shaped. Well, I wasn't out there watching, but the idiot came back and butchered the side of the tree by the house, and only did minimal trimming of the scraggly stuff on the side of the tree facing the street. The entire back of the tree wasn't even touched. I don't want these morons back, so I will find someone with a tall ladder and finish it myself. Exceptionally poor!!
Description of Work: The company was to trim a tree for me. They were doing a big job for the neighborhood association, and the association let all the residents know that these people would be in the neighborhood on Oct 18 and 19, and if we had a tree we wanted trimmed, we were to call and arrange for it. I had to send them $45.00, up front, to have them put me on the schedule for Oct. 19, 2006. When night fell on Oct. 19th, they had not come to my house or called to let me know when, if ever, they were going to come to do the tree. I called and left a message that evening. They finally called back the following day, after I complained to the homeowners association (see below). Now, after the crummy work they did, I wish I hadn't hired them. As of matter of fact, if I had known what a horrible job they would wind up doing, I would have paid them $45.00 to stay off my property and AWAY from my tree.
