Our refrigerator stopped cooling in the morning so picked up the yellow pages and talked to the company. They quoted $85 to come out and diagnose the problem and adjust $85 if any repair needed. The person/owner of the company who came he could find the problem in a relay and fixed it in 10 minutes and did not ask / quote us the price of the part of the total job. The person who came to fix told us that we were lucky that our compressor did not go bad or we would have spend $500. He quickly changed a power relay and told us he would be back with the invoice from his car. We expected that he would not charge us more than $100 but he handed us a bill for $231. He charged $110 for labor and $108 for part plus taxes. He was to make adjustment of $85 for coming out if any repair was made which he did not plus he heavily inflated the price of the part which is available for $20 over the internet. Quite disappointed in the way the pricing was quoted and finally charged to us. It seemed like he was doing us a favor by coming out to make money.
