The leak was fixed today and seems to be OK. He did a very good job. I spoke with him over the phone and he seem very professional and responsive. So far I've been really satisfied.

Todd Petrovic was recommended by our home inspector. When I called, he said he was busy but could get to the job by Friday of that week and would call me back. He did not. Finally, after another call from me, we agreed on a day and time. He did not show up. I called several hours later and was told he was busy with another job. When he eventually came out to look over the installation I explained that I wanted treated water only INSIDE THE HOUSE. He agreed and gave me a quote of $525. That price was shocking, but I decided it might be reasonable given the difficulty of routing the softened water only to the inside plumbing. (We irrigate the lawn with hoses and sprinklers and did not want to run that water through the softener.)
When the job was done, softened water was routed to both outside faucets. All Petrovic had done was install the softener  in line with the water intake to the house.  I  complained, but he said I had asked only that softened water not be routed to the automatic sprinkler system. That system, which is more than 30 years old, is mostly out of commission and is connected to the incoming water line before the line to the house. We use it only to water a few shrubs.I clearly told him I wanted treated water only INSIDE THE HOUSE. He denied that I said that. 
I also asked Petrovic when he first came out  to give me a quote on replacing the aged faucet and handles on the bathtub. I had bought a kit from Home Depot but was unsure how to install it. He glanced at the kit and told me it would not work, then said the replacement would require going in through the closet wall behind the bathroom. I asked if there wasn't some way to avoid that, and he promised to look for proper hardware at a plumber's show he was to attend that weekend. He never called back. I called him a week later and was told he hadn't found anything. He promised to make a check the following week  I heard nothing. Finally, three weeks after the softener installation he called and asked to come back by the house to look over the bathroom again. I demurred because I had finally given up and, following the instructions included in the kit, had replaced the faucet and handles the day before. The result is attractive and functional.

Arrived on time. Not only explained what the issue was (paper towels) but allowed me to get on the roof and see for myself. There was no issue with what the problem was, how it happened (still up for debate with my rental unit). Quick, professional.

The service was good. The technician was quick, efficient, and the process was easy.

In the past has solved leaks and commode problems.

The plumber made 2 attempts to clear the shower drain & when I called for the 3rd time, the plumber said he did all he could do. 
During both visits I asked if he could replace the old faucet in the shower & he said he could only replace the faucet with the same brand.  I accidentally bought the wrong brand, in which he told me its doable, but that it would involve a lot & he wasn't willing to try.  I unfortunately used the company as I purchased a Living Social deal.  Not included in the deal was a $65 service fee (which is apparently is not part of the deal) that had to be paid before he did anything.  I have a $200 voucher less the $60 to clear the drain & $65 additional payment & I can't find a job for this guy that he is capable of performing for the remaining $140.  Living Social didn't care that this company doesn't live up to its promises & refused to even take into account that this guy is ripping people off.  The 2nd service company I used since moving here 7 months ago & I am very unimpressed by the lack of professionalism in this area.  Hopefully, Angie's List will change my perception.

It was great. from the beginning, he was nice and pleasant on the phone. I have called other plumbers and they seemed to be rude. he gave me a reasonable price and it did not change when he got here. That has happened to me before, I got a cheap price over the phone and when they got here the price changed. He was clean and neat, and took his time to explain all of my questions. Very professional
