We spent over $5000 on their last service. We think the price is very good considering the service that we get from them. We think when we bought our home 10 years ago, they were already doing service with that home and had installed one of the systems at least in that home, and that's how we found them.

"Yes, we did put a new unit in for Member - twice just to make her happy. She was shopping price and when we went to install the equipment - her father signed the contract for her - exactly what she told us that she wanted on the proposal. After paying for the install, Member decided she really wanted a different unit. I agreed to install the new unit for the difference in the bid. I feel we went out of our way to accommodate the customer and she has her new Carrier unit."

I called this AM and due to a cancellation I was given an 11AM appointment. At 10AM I received a call from the serviceman saying he could come early if I was available. Both men were professional, answered my questions in a way a layman would understand and performed the maintenance competently. At my request they explained the service agreement which was a much better value than another company and I purchased. I am very pleased with the service provided by Wilhelm.

I bought a new thermostat and I asked what he put it on and he said it was the wrong one. He said the one I needed was $200.00 and I said forget it. Entirely too expensive. 2-3 days later I went to Home Depot and picked up the correct and exact same thermostat for a cheaper. I called and asked for them to install it. When he came over, he said it was going to be $100.00 just to install it. I wouldn't trust them for the likes of me. The price was outlandish! I did not have them install it.

WE DO NOT PURCHASE OUR THERMOSTATS AT HOME DEPOT AND IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT IT WOULD THE EXACT SAME QUALITY THERMOSTAT THAT WE OFFERED THE CUSTOMER. WE DO CHARGE A FAIR AND COMPETITIVE RATE FOR OUR SERVICES. WE SEND TRAINED PROFESSIONALS TO YOUR HOME TO ENSURE THAT THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. DURING A ROUTINE MAINTENANCE (DONE FOR THIS CUSTOMER IN 11/08) WE WERE ASKED TO PROVIDE A SERVICE NOT NORMALLY INCLUDED WITH THE ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. WE DID TELL HER THAT SHE HAD PURCHASED THE INCORRECT THERMOSTAT FOR HER SYSTEM AND TOLD HER WHAT SHE NEEDED. WE DID NOT OFFER TO COME BACK AND INSTALL IT FOR FREE. IF THE MEMBER EXPECTED A REDUCED CHARGE FOR THE SECOND TRIP, SHE SHOULD HAVE ASKED THE OFFICE STAFF BEFORE SCHEDULING ANOTHER APPOINTMENT IN DECEMBER. WE DO VALUE YOUR BUSINESS AND IF YOU CHOOSE TO DO IT YOURSELF, AT A LESSER COST, IT IS NOT A MATTER OF TRUST, BUT RESPECT. IF YOU CALL A PROFESSIONAL TO COMPLETE YOUR DO-IT-YOURSELF PROJECT, YOU SHOULD BE GLAD TO PAY FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RENDERED."

Overall, not well. I called Wilhelm because my previous provider did not return my call in a reasonable amount of time. Wilhelm did respond quickly and did get someone on premise fast. He also did fix the no cool problem (bypassed a defective float switch). However 1) I was told defrost board was defective and needed to be replaced (it was not) 2) I was told evap coil had a leak (he waved his wand over it and it beeped) and it did not. I know these were both false because I waited on both repairs and had another company do the work. He recommended new evap coil or handler and a new defrost board. In the end, I had the coil pulled and cleaned (though it wasn't necessary - the water leak was insulation problem) and there was NOTHING wrong with the defrost board. I am filing this report late because I wanted to be sure. It is 9 months later and I am still running on the same coil and the same defrost board and I have NO water leak and no AC problem. However, the float switch is still wrapped - at least he got that one right. In any event, serious effort to UPSELL here. Not only were unnecessary parts quoted, but also tried to push whole new unit - at minimum air handler.

THIS IS NOT IN LINE WITH THE COMPANY STANDARDS AND POLICIES OF PROFESSIONAL INTEGRITY AND ETHICS. I TERMINATED HIS EMPLOYMENT A FEW MONTHS AGO FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH COMPANY POLICY."
