*Please see pictures of text conversation* I hired David for an inspection of my house for possible Chinese drywall. with an appointment for June 1st. At first he seemed knowledgeable, but quickly admitted all he had to do for the inspection was scrape some drywall and send it to the lab in a ziploc. This cost me $450, and he told me I'd get results in 5-7 business days. Around the 7th business day, I began texting David on his work number to get an update. Instead of 5-7, it took NINETEEN days to finally get the results, and it turned out he had tested the wrong spot. It took 2 days on average EACH time I tried to contact him to even get an ANSWER, let alone a reason why my results were delayed. I can understand a delay, especially during COVID, but theres no reason a person who claims they have an "assistant" cant bother to update a paying client within a reasonable timeframe. I shouldnt have to hold your hand and ask when I'll get an answer. In addition, most chinese drywall is found in vertical walls due to the thickness, not the attic. I know this after speaking to a qualified inspector who I had to hire for a second opinion. After continually voicing my frustration through text, David responded that he'd have my report by Friday the 19th. He missed this deadline, and then finally responded by sending it on the 23rd. He has refused to apologize for consistently poor service, nor offered any sort of refund or explanation. I have never been mad enough to leave a review for a place I was dissatisfied with, but I spent 450 dollars only to have to babysit a business owner, and then hire a second inspector to do the job correctly.
