"The customer states that “placards” were removed from her vehicle while an oil change was performed. When the customer called me regarding the issue I invited her to come to the dealership so the vehicle could be inspected. The customer’s vehicle was inspected and compared to a used 2010 Flex and a new Flex on our sales lot. The customer’s vehicle had the same under hood appearance as the two other vehicles that were inspected with the customer present. Nothing was found to be missing on her vehicle as compared to the other vehicles. The customer said the 2 vehicles in stock were changed so they would look like her vehicle, but as the customer’s description of “placards” could not be identified over the phone there was no way to anticipate what she was referring to. Even when I spoke with the customer she could not identify what “placards” are. When the vehicle was inspected it was found to be normal as compared to the two other vehicles. The customer’s concerns have been reviewed by the BBB and Ford Customer Relations, both found that the customer’s claim was unfounded."
