"Well it doesn't get dark now till after 9:00 so? I just mentioned that someone closer to them would most likely offer a better price because I am at least 14 Mi. away. If that's construed to be rude so be it. Gas is expensive,not to mention the time involved. Notice, I don't want or need every job that comes in, only those I have a likelihood of making some money.It's a big reason I work. I don't Overcharge, so don't be surprised if you call someone & say"I'm calling others & I want an estimate" on a $35.00 job & you're not close by that #1 they don't show up or #2 they aren't excited. I'm not the "Cheapest guy" nor do I want to be. Go to the dollar store if you're looking for bargain.I do mostly referral work for those that can appreciate a quality job at a great price. I'm not for everybody & that's the way it's going to stay."

"Re: being punctual, if I'm busy & can't get to the job right away I always bring that up early on & ask if that's going to work for them or not. During the busy season in the fall/winter it's not unusual to be 2 Wks. behind.At the time I was just going through a separation after 29 yrs. & I'm sure sharing way too much Info. on my personal situation.
