Carmen was pleasant and the work was done satisfactory, but punctuality and clean up were not. He came 4 times. The first and last time were punctual. The 3rd time he was 3 1/2 hours late. The 4th time he didn't come or call at all the day he said he would come and finish. I waited a couple of days before I called to reschedule his no-show and he was punctual that time. The work he did was good. However, the finishing and clean up was sloppy. Quite a few drips of compound down on the walls and the floor. Carpet was not covered when work was done. Compound drips on electrical switches and nothing that dripped was wiped off. He sanded the edges of the ceiling on the last day and did not cover anything when he sanded and also did not clean up any of the drywall dust. Clean up was not good in general. A good layer of popcorn was left on top of cabinets.

I got them off of Angie's List. The house is in Florida but I live in Dallas, Texas; so I wasn't there when it was done. We communicated by email and I had someone there just to see when they were done. They were there when they were supposed to be. They had a key and they returned the key once it was done. They cleaned up after themselves and it was fine. Their price was real good and the quality of the work was excellent.

Carmen explained what problems popcorn ceilings could have in a humid environment and recommended a more suitable finsh. He arrived on Day 1 (on time and ready to work) and applied a base coat of joint compound that sealed the ceiling and fixed the defects. On Day 2 (on time and ready to work) he applied the finished texture. He was very professional and his experience and skill gave us an awesome ceiling in a short period of time.

Arrived within hour of initial call. He gave estimate and time frame for doing job. He and workman arrived at designated time. Carmen showed him what area to repair. This repairman was very experienced and professional. The drywall repair and texture is so well done that we can not tell the difference between repair and original ceiling. The work was done in an efficient manner and the area was left clean. Carmen returned later, checked over job and collected his left-over materials. I feel the price was fair for the work performed and am very satisfied with job.

He showed up on the day we agreed on with all necessary equipment and was in and out quickly. The work looks great!
