He was very willing to work with us on all aspects of the project and he did good work.

It went better than expected. He recommended using my own tile for bullnose which he shaved down himself, and added random glass tiles which really set off the backsplash subway tiles. I am very happy with installation.

Steve did an amazing tile job on our large screened porched. Steve is more than a tile installer, he is an artist with a meticulous eye for detail. His estimate for laying tile with handcut and design detailing was less than what another tile person wanted to charge us for just laying plain tile. He literally spent hours at my house before staring the project discussing what type of accent design I would like him to hand create, helped me shop for the best price on the type of plain background tile and then drew the design layout for me on the concrete to make sure I would be satisfied before he started. The handmade mosaic tiles are pieces of art, incorporating glass and ceramic tile and tying in the colors of both my home interior and pool area. Steve went above and beyond what I had imagined he would create. He added more accent pieces to balance the design, with no extra cost involved. Steve completed all work in the scheduled time period agreed upon. He was neat, courteous and respectful of pur property. I would use Naylor's Tile again and recommend him without hesitation.

We hired this guy to do our two bathroom's. Steve Naylor says what you want to hear during the sales pitch but doesn't deliver.
The quote was very high $5000 for the labor labor only. My wife and i decided to hire him thinking at that price and the sales pitch telling us that he is a master tileman with over 25 years exsperence that he's our guy. So he started a week later and was on time, 3 days later he was finished late and quot;on a Fridayand quot; with the first bath and wanted 2500.00 for half the job so I payed him, After the tile dryed on the floor the following day we were able to walk into the bathroom.
OMG...!!!!!! None of the tile lined up on the corners, there was tile that was too high and too low, grout lines from the size of a dime to the size of a pencil, there was one tile below the window that was cracked in half, just a awful job it looks like a two year old did it.
I tryed to call him but no answer, so my wife and i decided to cancel the check first thing Monday... but it was too late he cashed it Saturday morning when the bank opened. He returned to the job on Monday to start the second bathroom when i showed him his butchered work, he told me the walls are uneven and thats the best he is going to do, i fired him and asked for a refund he said why?
no refunds he said.
After the Steve Butcher left I had someone else come in to rip out the butchers work... tile both bathrooms for almost half the cost and its a perfect job, the new guy told me there are no even walls ever, that's why we have mud to put behind the tiles to even them up.

I had already begun the destruction phase when we asked Naylor Tile for an estimate for what we thought would be just tile installation. Steve's estimate included completion of the destruction, and we were convinced that the small additional cost outweighed the amount of work we would have had to do. He came in with a work plan covering a 5-day project and stuck to it but for a small delay due to materiel shortage. Steve is meticulous as to detail, and a believer in and quot;over-buildingand quot; to ensure a quality project. As an added bonus, he likes to incorporate a small piece of artwork into his tile projects, and with the owner's permission will design and install a special touch at no additional cost; in our case it was a stained-glass Nautilus shell on the bath tile wall, which became the visual center of the remodeled bath.

Steve does a wonderful tile Work. He's an artist.
