They came out and installed my solar panels. First guys installed the control box backward. Second guy came out fixed that. My solar panels have NEVER worked. I was told they do not warranty their solar panels to call manufacture. Then I had a leaking roof. Roof company came out. They said solar panels were tacked down - pulled up and out in a different spot. The holes were not fixed and caused the roof to leak. Which made the roof warranty not valid. After I posted a review about this the owners son called and left message about how he wanted to resolve the problem and this wasn’t how his dad operated a business. Well guess what I called the guy back a couple of times and even text him. No response. I saved the messages and the voicemail in case anyone was ever interested. I would not use them again at all. It was money down the drain for a product that had never one day worked.

Very poorly. Warranty solar panel was leaking internally had to be removed and sent back to the original manufacturer. Because of faulty installation work when the panel was originally installed, we discovered water damage to the roof, shingles, plywood and garage ceiling. The return pipe for the hot water hadn't been sealed properly allowing water to get in & under all because of a poor caulking job. This all took place in August of 2017, it is now March of 2018 (7 months later) and we still haven't had our warranty panel returned OR our roof and ceiling damage repaired. We've purchased the solar panel ($2500.00) our hybrid hot water tank ($1800.00) and a pool heating unit ($3000.00+) all from Florida Solar East LLC and still can't get any service from them. NOT IMPRESSED!

HORRIBLE! They took $6K and did not show up for a week and did not call...I had to call 'THEM' EVERY DAY to find out where they were and given excuse after excuse. After catching in multiple lies...enough was enough. No longer wanted this company doing anything for us! Told our refund would be made immediately. We contracted on 18 Sept.2017 - Fired 29 Sept. 2017 - We have a voice mail saved that our check was mailed on 30 Aug 2017. Time & Again told it was mailed. Then told they would 'bring' it to us...Surprise...they didn't show. It took six weeks to finally get our money back after TREMENDOUS STRESS and fighting with them through calls, texts and emails...continued lies. FUNNY...how could the check have been mailed on Aug. 30th & when they were 'finally' delivered they were dated 6 Sept?! The saga is quite long, we documented everything and saved all emails, texts, calls & voicemails. BEWARE...Proceed at your own RISK - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Caused a nervous breakdown over this mess and a near end to a marriage with all the stress they caused.

"There was a hurricane and we were not in our building for two months. As were many businesses in Brevard County. Sorry to here about the breakdown. Maybe a little less stress in your life, I know that helped me. As far as marriage goes this would have been the first solar install to end a marriage. We definitely don't want that ever. Money was refunded."

Person showed up, went on roof, did the repair work Even tho there was a flaw in their installed product, they charged me $175 service call fee............ they should not charge a service fee for when service is actually needed

Worst experience I ever had with a vendor. Sales people sold me one thing and the system they installed was undersized which caused my electric bill to go up instead of getting the savings and benefits of solar. I'm currently in process of starting litigation. ..

"We apologize. We have reviewed your file and did see an upgrade to your system at no charge($1128.00). The tank you have now is good for 8 people. The ongoing rise is electric has nothing to do with the solar installation. You have a comfort system that pulls hot water out of your tank 24 hours a day. When hot water is pulled out cold water is ran back into the tank. Checking your system at 9:22 am February 23rd the water tested at 122 degrees. That is above average for that time of the year."

This time I found their website called the and asked for the owner, was given the run around and told the guy on the phone the situation that I would sue them if they didn't stop calling. He said that was fine and great! Then hung up the phone. Today, I got 2 calls from them AGAIN! I answered the 2nd call, listened to a guy named JASON, who said we spoke last week and that I was interested in the system but I didn't remember. I told him the entire situation and he just put the phone down as I was speaking and eventually just hung the phone up. NOW IM GOING TO SUE THEM! They have broken federal law knowingly which triples the fine. Instead of $500 per call, I get $1500 per call. All I have to do now is go file a lawsuit claim which im going to do.  Im glad they think all this is a joke. We will see who is laughing last. Very unprofessional company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

The name is Renuen Solar owned and operated by Jeff Nemes. He has contact this company to ask us to do subcontract work for him and we declined the offer. He has been using local solar contractors' names to cold call homeowners in Brevard County. We have filed a complaint against this company. Getting the service provider to schedule the work, order the parts, and perform the service under warranty was far too time consuming and difficult.  They don't return phone calls, they have lots of excuses (no parts, new employees, new management, etc).
BUT the technicians are great, fast, and good!
And I got so frustrated that I found someone else to do the work, but only Florida Solar had the parts!  So I was stuck with them.

Had a problem with the solar panels that they installed in 2012, they were leaking. They came out and fixed the pipe and the water stopped leaking.

I contacted Florida Solar East via the internet to get some information on heating my swimming pool. The owner of the company (Ronnie Brewer) came to my house and measure my pool and the roof for an exact fit. He was very professional and courteous. He was very knowledgeable about the
FAFCO pool system.In a timely manor a crew came to install the system, they were very professional and installed the panels very quickly. It looks very clean. All in all I would recommend Florida Solar to any of my friends or anybody who would ask me about them.

We had Florida Solar East install a solar system for our pool in 2006. It leaked from day one. Over the following 7 years we had many problems with it. Sometimes it looked like a sprinkler system on our roof. They sent people over countless times to fix it & at one point even replaced panels. On one visit we were told that the part which stops the system at a desired temperature wasn't working. He said "I juryrigged  it so you're all set". Not what we wanted to hear!The problems persisted. One time I specifically asked that they NOT send a certain repairman here but that's who they sent. Our last contact was in 2013. They did a system check which we were charged for. The repairman said there were problems & that the owner would get in touch with us to resolve them. That didn't happen.
The only person there that truly tried to solve the problems was Ed, our salesman, but he could only do so much. Mr. Brewer, the owner or manager, made routine sales calls to us to & always acted surprised that we had a problem. Very annoying.
We finally removed the system ourselves in December, 2013. That's $5,000.00 down the drain. We now have a new system installed by a different company & it works perfectly & doesn't leak.
If Florida Solar contacts you, run as fast & as far away as you can from them.

Absolutely my worst experience with any contractor or service provider in over 35 years in Brevard county.  They admittedly don't have any idea why the system they installed does not work.  They (including supplier FAFCO) keep promising, but they never deliver.  This system literally provides NO SAVINGS AT ALL.  They have attempted to "fix" the system several times, but nothing they have done has improved anything.  It has been in place almost 14 months, and I have yet to see the slightest reduction on my power bill.  Even in July, I have to turn on the electric water heat to have more than a tepid shower.  I honestly don't know whether this outfit is totally dishonest or totally incompetent.  I have nothing positive to say about them, except that they have effective sales people.  It is quite likely that we will end up settling this in court.

They did a great job putting the panels up last fall and recently took the panels down and replaced them after a new roof was put on.
