The drain was moved, but other than that the quality of the work was very poor. Grout lines were as large as 1/2 inch. The shower wall is not plumb. Ceiling does not match existing ceiling. Doors, trim, walls, etc. were poorly done, not painted, and not even paint ready. I provided all of the material and did most of the demo work. I found that the license holder was someone other than anybody I worked with at Doors by Tim. When issues arose the answer, from Tim was "we are only human" or "we do our best" . I wish I was told that prior to hiring them! I knew that the cost contracted was on the high end, but I expected an exceptional product at the end.....and I received far from that.

The full glass doors were to be white. They came with white trim but the frames were unfinished not even primed. When questioned about it after they were installed he said that surprised him as well that I could paint them or hire someone to paint them. I asked for a $100 discount to hire a painter. The barn door for the laundry was hung fine and he patched the wall but again no paint. of trim, door or wall. The security door there were 3/4 inch gaps top and bottom around the frame for bugs to get. Said he would come back to weather strip but never showed.

Worst part was the lockset on the security door was mounted upside down so the only way to open the door was to lift up on the handle. I called to have that fixed but they never came or never returned my call. Two months later the locket broke and we could not get out of the house through that door. When I looked at it I found all the mounting screw heads had been stripped and they had used decking screws to attach the face plate to the lock set stripping all the threads. While putting in the decking screws they snapped the head off one of the screws so they glued the screw head in place to hide the damage. I stopped at the company to complain, had to leave a message with the office. Never returned my call. I drilled out the bad screws just to get the lockset off and replaced it myself.

They always showed up when they said, and did exactly what they said they would do.  The work was done within the time frame, and they did an excellent job.  When they were finished they cleaned up and removed all the debris.  The door look beautiful, and function well, no problems.  They passed inspection with no problems.  We were kept informed as to when the doors would arrive, when the building inspector would be out etc.  Would certainly recommend them!

All of the workers were professional and competent, especially Ryan. He was involved in every aspect from carpentry, plumbing, and tile installation. I felt like, sometimes, the other guys were just getting in his way. Unfortunately, Ryan had to leave early on the last day of the job for a family commitment, which left two other guys to finish up. I had requested that the shower curtain rod be permanently attached by drilling holes in the tile and screwing the mounting cups to the wall. These guys were rushing to get out of there on a Friday and ended up cracking the tile. With that, they threw up their hands and left. Ryan had to come back the next week to complete the task. His boss, apparently, had him supply friction cups to complete the curtain rod installation saying that further attempts to drill into the tile would likely produce additional cracks. I reluctantly agreed. A week later, I obtained my own porcelain tile coring bits and completed the task myself. I am not a tile contractor or carpenter, so I felt like, if I could do, they should have been able to do it.
