They also replaced a balcony, and the screws - which were supposed to be stainless- were getting rusty. I phoned, spoke to Bill, and his response was perfect. They apologized, ordered new screws, and came to replace the old screws with new ones free of charge....happily!! A number of other friends have used them, and their experiences have also been great. Highest recommendation.

It went perfectly! I was impressed with the knowledge and experience of Bill Moore, the owner, whom I met first but I watched them put a new roof on a neighbors house and was quite impressed with the quality, methodology and attention to detail of the installation crew. I checked 4 other roofing companies before selecting Legacy and although they were slightly higher in price, they were the clear choice given their quality approach to the materials they use and the installation process they follow. Plus, everyone I met on the worksite was polite, helpful and worked well as part of a well oiled machine. It was a pleasure to watch how they systematically removed the existing and then installed the new roof. They left the worksite immaculate every night - they cleaned up after themselves, except for the presence of the raw materials, you couldn't tell there was a worksite in action during the day and a very busy one at that. We were able to get in/out of our garage (driveway was cleaned every night, magnets were used to catch any metal that might be on the ground ready to puncture a tire) and they swept and in the end, power-washed the areas in and around our house that they had touched. Finally, they did not rip us off on charges for things like wood sheeting or fascia that had to be replaced and they used the highest grade products from the skylights to the tiles and the edging and other adhesive products. Several of the other bids we got either had high up charges for the wood and or they left key items out of the bid that you would later discover and have to pay extra for. Legacy did a great job and we are very happy with the roof they put on our house and the way they conducted themselves and carried out the work - they are true professionals!

I did not use him. He is a very nice person to talk to. The price was a little higher, and I could not go with him. He was very polite, and he explained things very clearly. If the price is right, I would definitely use him again in the future.

I had 5 roof replacement bids before calling Legacy. I called them after seeing a metal roof in my neighborhood that I loved. After stopping to ask who did their roof, I called Legacy Contracting. From that first call, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with the whole Legacy team. I will call it and quot;one stop shoppingand quot;. All work was done on the days stated. Their attention to detail and follow-up to make sure everything was done correctly was amazing. They also coordinated with a gutter company to come in immediately upon the completion of their work and extended their 10 year warrranty to include the gutters! I only had to make the one call to them and they took it from there and coordinated EVERYTHING i.e. all permitting, took pictures of the work in progress to satisfy Florida wind inspection requirements, coordinated with the wind inspection company to call me, handled all the final painting of fascia board, arranged for new metal work for the pool lanai to adjust for the new slimmer profile of the metal roof. They also stood by any repairs needed to the lanai screens due to the roof replacement. They walked the yard after every day's work to make sure there were no roofing nails or other debris that needed pickup. And at the end they pressure washed the whole driveway area. I would hire them in again in a heart beat. They had large crews of 12+ men and as a result, the job moved much more quickly than other roofs in the area being done by other roofers. And the price was very fair given the other 5 bids that were obtained. They were a quality company to do business with.

Everything went well. They did the work as promised and provided a 10-year warranty which was very important to me.

Job went smoothly from start to finish. I wasn't even in Florida when the work was done! Pictures were sent to my email on a daily basis to keep me updated. Property was immaculate after the job was done. Main office was attentive and punctual with permits and POA/HOA applications and inspections. Best part.....NO MORE LEAKING ROOF! Very good. They showed up the day scheduled and were complete with the installation of the metal roof the next day. I was charged exactly what was on the quote.

We were very wary about the construction industry because of an ongoing problem we are having with another company that did work on our property and they are not living up to their oral and written promises. We got 8 bids for this project to find not only the best price, but to check out the company's work while in progress on a job (which we highly recommend doing and a mistake we made in the past of not doing,...lesson learned!). Our efforts were well worth the time as Legacy did an A+++ job. We were kept informed every step of the way from permit filing, to material ordering and installation steps. There were two crews - one for each step of the installation - and they both arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day. The foreman and supervisors worked as hard as the crews and made themselves available when I came outside to watch the work in progress, asking me if I had any questions. The gutter company - Just In Time - hired by Legacy to make and install the new gutters did a great job and were a true reflection of Legacy's superior worth ethic and commitment to service. The gutter installation was delayed by Tropical Storm Isaac, but as soon as the storm passed, we were their first customer. We would highly recommend visiting at least three homes of a roofing company's work in progress and three homes of completed jobs. We found the job sites as Legacy told us they would be: clean as they worked, workers working and supervisors on site.

Bill Moore is the president. They did a great job. They gave me a quote and stuck within that amount and stayed within the time frame they said it would get done. They took care of the paperwork for me. They were the most responsive and personable out of the other companies I got quotes from.

Bill was extremely thorough in his estimate and description of the work to be performed. Legacy handled all of the HOA/POA requirements and deposits. All the work went according to schedule. The crews did a great job in protecting the property, pool, neighbor's yard, etc. from debris and did an excellent clean-up after each phase of the project. When all was done, they even power-washed the driveway and front walk. The roof looks great!

They were very timely. Everything that we asked about they were able to take care of. They went above and beyond with their service.
