Had a time window of 8am - 1pm and the tech was not going to show up till after 1:30. I wasted an entire morning because they failed to communicate with their customers. They could just send a text saying hey your 3 in line for service and we are not going to be there at 8.

Buyer Beware, you may be better off with cheaper options. We expected better from a reputable company such as Stanley Steemer. If we were aware that they are unable to clean even the lightest of stains from carpet and tile then we would have rented a cheap DIY cleaner and bought consumer cleaning chemicals. The technician arrived late (outside the 5 hour window provided) but was very nice and professional and seemingly tried and worked very hard. But all we heard was why light stains and wear marks wouldn't come clean. Understand what you are getting before going with an expensive solution like SS. Would not recommend.

On 9/2/2021 while heading to the other side of the house at 4:30 AM I ended up water skiing across my kitchen; the house had taken on a lot of water from a broken utility sink water line☹. After working several hours to mitigate the damage as much as possible the Lady of the House expressed a real concern for the 8x10 Persian silk rug, we got in the Middle East several years ago. I called Stanley Steemers and the gentleman advised that if I could get the rug to their facility on Crescent Park Drive in Riverview that according to Sam at the center, I would be taken care of. After working on the problem for another four hours I finally got assistance in loading up the rug and off to Riverview I went. Upon arrival I met Mr. Steve Little/Quality Supervisor who upon hearing of my issue advised me to pull around to the side and then he came out as provided physical assistance to this 70-year-old and we got the rug into his facility. Mr. Little worked up the paperwork, gave me my copy and asked did I want to pick it up when it was ready, or have it delivered – I requested the delivery to which he replied, “No problem!” From the receptionist that I first met when entering the facility to the other employees I encountered, all of them had friendly greetings and yet there was a very professional air about what they were doing. Mr. Little was extremely helpful, very friendly, and yet carried himself in a very professional manner and the most important item of the day – they all made the Lady of the House happy which made my existence even better. Stanley Steemer is there to help and help they did!

I had saved money from my Social Security Disability checks excited to have my carpet cleaned. I chose to use Stanley Steemer since the company has been around so long, I figured they would have the most knowledge about cleaning carpets. Since I could only get one room cleaned out by myself (11 x 10), I did not “qualify” for their special so it would be $99 for that one room. I thought it was pricey, but it needed cleaning and it would make me happy. On July 8th a crew came out and in a matter of 10 minutes they were done cleaning…so I thought. As the carpet dried every single spot that was on the carpet came right back. I called their office and reported this to them. The gal I spoke to told me that this happens and that they can send someone back out to do a “courtesy cleaning” the next day to fix it. The next day a different crew came out and they immediately told me that the spots that I have on my carpet weren’t going to come out unless the padding was removed from under the carpet. They said they would go ahead with the “courtesy cleaning”. At that moment I felt completely duped. How did this company that’s been around for more years then I have not known this from the get-go? How could they still just take my money without explaining this to me first? That was their duty. I wanted a refund. Since this time, I have been trying to get in touch with Stanley Steemer’ s managers Fred McCoy, Ray Lisotta and Complaint Manager, Gina. I keep being told they will call me, but they don’t. I have had my bank file a claim to no avail. I am actively seeking help through Channel 8 News Better Call Behnken and I will continue until I receive my refund. This could have been easily resolved by Stanley Steemer with good customer service versus customer dodging.

They showed up on time but "cleaned" grout and floors in 3 rooms in about 15 minutes, left the floors sopping wet, shoe prints on my laminate, dust all over the top of the stove, a dirty rag on my porch and charged me $149. The grout wasn't any better than before they arrived. The job in my opinion was worth more like $39. I am disappointed with this experience.

It didn't feel like the two that were last here were as good as they usually do. They could have taken a little more time. They were in and out very quickly. I've never found anybody that could clean it better.

I wasn't there when they arrived but the outcome was good. The price was competitive.

There were two men and I had a bottle of Visine in the bathroom on the counter. They stole the bottle of Visine from the bathroom. I asked my son and I asked his girlfriend, they don't even use it, they said "no, Dad, we didn't touch it". I actually gave each man a $5 tip. I wouldn't have tipped them if I had known they were stealing from me. It's a small thing but I've had, not from these companies, but I had workmen one time, steal two watches. I had another company, they stole a bunch of quarters I had rolled up, about $100 worth. For the Stanley Steamer, I just said, "you know what? I'll just never hire them again". It's a $2.50 Visine.

We use them all the time.

They have always done an excellent job. I called yesterday and they were here today. I am surprised at what they managed to clean up. Very pleased.

WHAT A SCAM!!! I called for a quote to have my tile floor in the kitchen cleaned and the grout sealed with a colored sealant. Was told the total would be $325, which I agreed to and scheduled the service. When the people arrived this morning, they told us that the eat-in kitchen was considered 2 rooms because it had space for a small table and the price would now be $565 - but after a bit of bickering back and forth, he said he could do it for $475!!! I guess they figured they could dupe a senior citizen which is the case with so many service companies today. The entire kitchen is 225 square feet!!! They advertise a room to be up to 300 sf and also specify "upfront pricing". When I asked what it would cost just to steam clean the tile without the colored sealant, I was told $165 (which turned out to be the price for 2 rooms), which I grudgingly agreed to since there was no way I was going to be scammed into paying any more than the quoted price of $325. I called Customer Service (Victoria) who had me on hold for quite a long time while they were trying to contact "Management". She then asked for my phone number and said she would call me back. Of course, no return call. This is the WORST service we have ever experienced and I feel completely violated and duped with this disgusting bait and switch way of doing business. JUST SAY NO TO STANLEY STEEMER!!!!!!

We use Stanley Steemer from time to time. It has been about two years since we have used them. I think it was somewhere in the range of $200 to $300, because we had some bad spots that they had to work on and do special treatment on. They moved a lot of furniture for us. They did a good job!

Wonderful!! I was scheduled for an 8 to 12 window, and they showed up promptly at 8am. They were polite and professional. They took the time to successfully remove some small stains in the living room. They asked me to check all of the rooms when they were done to make sure I was satisfied and offered to go over areas again if I wanted them to. The cost was exactly what was quoted to me when I scheduled the service, which is nice because I've had other carpet cleaners in the past try to charge me extra at the last minute claiming that certain rooms count as more than one area.
