Victor and his team were very easy to work with. Victor came out and looked over the system and gave me several options from a basic repair through replacement of the complete system. Budget ruled out doing that and since the compressor unit outside had been functioning well, we agreed that replacing the air handler would be the best option for performance and reliability.
I called them on a Wednesday, and even though they were very busy they were able to schedule the work for Friday of the same week. I also had to put a stipulation on what times they could work because of other things that were going on in the house. They worked around all of that and had everything completed in four hours.
I felt that the price I paid was fair for the work done, it was done with quality workmanship, and the professionalism and communications from Victor and his crew could not have been better. I'll definitely be using him again in the future.

SELECT was referred by a friend who also required a complete replacement of his home HVAC system. My system was in need of continuous repair and had become too costly to maintain. SELECT provided me with a diagnostic of the system and optional pricing for minor, and major repairs, as well as the cost of full replacement. The quoted cost of a new 3.5 ton Payne (Carrier) system was $5,700.00. This was the cost of the complete system which also included the installation of a condensate pump.  Unfortunately, the support unit supporting the air handler had to be rebuilt. That included removal of the plenum and installation of insulation material, new plywood and sealant. The labor and materials increased the total price to $6,300.00. I received two other replacement quotes; $9,000.00 and $8,600.00. SELECT installed the new system and rebuilt the air handler support unit in one day. The unit comes with a 10 year manufacturer's transferable warranty and has been inspected by both TECO and Hillsborough County without incident. SELECT is a new company but the owner has over 16 years of experience. If you want no-nonsense, timely service at reasonable cost, seriously consider using this company.
