Riverview Tire & Auto Service

They told me I had a rear main leak and that the tech repaired it. A few days later, my truck started making very loud noises and I subsequently took it to another shop for their opinion on what Riverview Tire & Auto did to my vehicle. They did a horrible job fixing the rear main leak so I am now having it re-done at another shop and am having to pay for it again. Don't ever take your vehicle to them. They do very sloppy work.

My son accidentally hit a curb in St. Pete. His car, a hybrid, did not have a spare so I drove over and put my spare on his car and drove it back to Riverview to get a new tire. I originally went to another tire/auto repair dealership that I had used frequently near our home. They stated they would need to order the tire and it would take 2 days to replace because they were busy and understaffed. I took their quote and went to Riverview Tire & Auto and 1.) was told they could replace the tire within a few hours and 2.) their quote was $100 less then the quote from the first place I went. Needless to say, they did a great job replacing the tire in the time promised for the price promised. Riverview Tire & Auto, you will get all my future business, including my six commercial vehicles. actual issue was resolved elsewhere and the a/c condenser was replaced again in 2014

AC is cold but makes a hissing sound on occasion.

Job was completed on time, at a fair price, and the patch is still holding strong 5 months later.

They told me I needed new tires when there's only 20,000 miles on these tires.  They did not take good care of me, my car, and my tires.
I asked them to do an Oil change and rotate the tires, like they have in the past.
They told me I needed a new set of tires - and showed me how the tires had worn so much. 
I just had them rotated 4000 miles ago - and no one told me of any issues then or before.
How can a tire installation company rotate my tires and NOT tell me there was some problem?
So, it's been 20,000 miles on this set of tires and now I need a new set - which they would be very happy to order for me at $1000.
I don't trust them any more and will go somewhere else for my tires and car work.
When you lose trust in a business - you can't go back.

They called to inform me that they broke a different piece of the car and needed to order a replacement part that took two days to repair.  When the car was finally picked up, it was idling rough which it did not do prior to the repair.  They denied having anything to do with the issue and wanted to charge $110 to just check it out.  The mechanic said that it was possible it got damaged when replacing the starter, however the management refused to look into it further.  Took the car and went elsewhere and had to pay an extra $500 to replace the idle valve.  Will not return here ever.

Problem was handled with efficiency and no problems since.  Staff was very helpful and would bring my car back in a second.

e we've had for over a year and a half is GONE!!!  We have found our local car care service!!  They run their business old style...good quality work, honestly done and in a timely manner.  Good Job Riverview Tire and Auto!!

I will not use them again. To chaotic, and too many different technician running around there.

They provide great service with fair pricing.  They are a fair company to deal with.  They do a good job.

The pricing was good.  They were good.  I would go there again.  I have no problems with their service.

They were professional and their prices were very comparable. They were almost 45 minutes away, but worth it for the drive. They’re a family owned company that has been around for many years. They offered extra work for nothing, really going above and beyond.

Checked the light and told me what could be the cause and also checked my tires. Price was reasonable compared to what I've paid in the past.

Using your list, we saw their ratings from 16 others.  To us, that gave a good sampling of what to expect.

Called, discussed problem with brakes, made appt. same day.  They are very credible, punctual and overall we feel they rendered a superior service.  We just moved back to the area and had to find a reputable firm - they are it!

Estimate was very fair.  Total cost was within estimate range.  Mechanic discoved motor mounts were bad.  Recommended replacement but did not force the issue.  Stated "whenever your ready just bring it in."  I appreciate such service.

The last time around, they checked why my engine light was on and also did some brake work for me. They were professional and punctual. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I have used Riverview Tire and Auto for 20 plus years, currently driving 20 miles to do it.  I had taken my truck to a local place for an oil change.  I mentioned a squeak in the front.  They told me it was the ball joints and would be $500.00 to fix.  I had them write everything down then took the truck to Riverview.  The place was busy as always but they got to me in under an hour.  The problem was the cam bolts were loose.  They tightened them - cost $35.00.  I will continue to drive the extra miles to get such great service.

I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment and was taken care of when I walked in the door. The serviceman checked my tires to see if they were still safe.  He said I still had tread but also some dry rot. I chose to change out my tires before summer trips. He showed me options that I could buy. I feel he listened to my questions and was respectful of a person who is not knowledgable when it comes to auto care.

Overall I felt like they just wanted to get my money and hurry up and get me out the door so that they could get as many people in and out as they could to make money

They are wonderful. They don?t do work that don?t need to be done. They are very honest. The last time I used them, I spent $180 on the job. They are very good. They don?t replace things that don?t need to be replaced. I have used them before. My husband was very surprised when they told him that a certain part did not need to be replaced. They are a very good company. They are privately owned and the owner is always around. They do the work and get you out quickly. My husband had gone to two other places and they were quoting him $200 for the same work. I have been using them for years and I will use them again in the future.
