I live out of state, and I found Tracy on his website, tracyhandy.com got an estimate and hired him based on that. He detailed what he would do and gave the estimate. He came in right on the money and sent pictures to me. When I got to my FL house in December and looked at the work, it was even better than the pictures. The Bathroom was in poor condition, now it is just wonderful. I recommend Tracy Roberts Handyman service. 100%

Well everything I must say was just great, they showed up on time. Everyone was polite, knew just what the plan was. They started removing all rotten wood trim and siding from home without destroying landscaping and lights, replaced three wooden posts, then they proceeded installing all the new pine siding and trim. Once this was done his guys sealed up all doors and windows with caulk, which was awesome because most contractors just start throwing paint on to finish, they took their time and told me this would help keep bugs out, plus help with utility bills and further corrosion. They then started to finish priming all wood that was not already primed once to start with, because he had already primed bottom and back of siding to prevent corrosion further on, so that was great and an extra step the builder had never done. then top coats came and the job was 100 percent. I must say we are gun-shy when it comes to FL contractors; we have had some bad luck in the past. But Mr Roberts and his crew really renewed our attitudes about contractors for sure and we thank them.

It went poorly. The only thing that was well done was the trim work around the fireplace. The replacement door Tracy bought opened the wrong way and had a deadbolt opening in it when the original did not. That meant I had to buy a deadbolt that was not required on the original (second floor deck door). And he busted the molding around the door and just put it back without even glue, not to mention replacing the trim piece. He also busted some of the grout around the tile next to the door, and never mentioned it. It's still a hole in my floor. The Formica repair was a disaster, with two of the three repair points requiring a re-visit. One of them still isn't right (the re-glue next to the sink still doesn't stick). I specifically requested metal vent covers, and was quoted the same. I got vinyl. Tracy is nice enough (until something goes wrong), but I will never hire him again. Beware!

He made two appointments with me but did not show up for either one. He didn't even call to let me know...I ended up having to call him.

Tracy is the person you want to hire for your job. He is honest, prices his work fairly, and, best of all, is quick to return calls. He also notices little things that need to get done, and takes care of them. I had other people come out and give me estimates for the work I needed to get done. Other folks would show up, name a price and leave. Tracy took the time to look it all over and explain different repair options. After Tracy got done, the exterior of my house looks new. The deck and stairs are looking better than when they were built. Tracy is the first person I call when my house is in need of repair. I strongly recommend him.

He did a great job. We would use him again but we no longer live in Tallahassee.

Tracy's paint crew did a great job. They were very careful with the furniture and was happy with the way the paint job and colors turned out. It took some time to get Tracy locked in to get the work done, but that was mainly due to his very busy schedule and working it into my tenants schedule. I'll definitely call Tracy for work in the future.

Mr. Roberts and crew did an exceptional job with the painting and repair of wood rot on the exterior of my home. I would use him again for other projects.

I tried to get Tracey to repairs some wood rot damage on a home I own in Tallahassee. He told me to use his website to request the work, which I did. He never called the tenant to set up a time. He told me he was in Marianna doing a big job and would call them Friday night to schedule. When I called back today, he said that he had people no show today so he was rushing around. What a no-show today has to do with not calling my tenant last week, I don't know. He told me he was scheduled out two weeks at this point, so I said I'd find someone else.

Everything went well. I knew Tracy would be busy. Since he's so highly rated on Angie's List, I figured I wasn't the only one who was trying to get him to do work. He and two workers came to our house about two weeks after the initial call and did the repairs we had discussed. It cost a little more than our initial discussion; however, I realized that might happen after they tore out some of the rot to see how extensive the damage was. Both he and his workers were courteous and professional and the job was well done. I will definitely use Tracy again for handyman work!

We had some issues with them. I called them to check my fascia boards. They gave me a price for the repair. It ended up being a total replacement of the fascia boards. They pressure washed before they did the job. The pricing was very fair.

Tracy and his helper, Tommy, spent extra time making sure the job was done to our satisfaction. This was not an easy job to do, and Tracy hung in there making sure it was done right and finished. We are very grateful to him and will call him again for help with other projects.

This is my second time using Tracy's service. The thing I like most about working with Tracy is that he makes very helpful recommendations. I'd never redone a bathroom, and didn't really know what I wanted. He made several excellent suggestions that really improved the finished product. Beyond knowing how to do all this stuff, he also has a good eye for design. He helped me along at each step of the decision making process, so I was never caught unaware. Tracy really knows what he's doing, but on occasion, his extended staff does not share his attention to detail. When brought to Tracy's attention (and Tracy usually noticed before I brought it up), Tracy redid or fixed what was needed, which I appreciated. He's friendly and hardworking, and often came up with creative solutions to problems encountered (the house dates to 1958, so nothing was especially "standard" about the job). Everyone who works with Tracy is courteous, especially his No. 2. They always cleaned up before they left, which amazed me since when working with tile, the same mess would be made the next day! Tracy is very easy to get a hold of, and was very responsive to questions and requests. In the hands of another person, this review probably would be an "excellent," but I'm unusually picky. If one tile isn't as flat set as the others, I tend to notice that kind of thing. I see things others probably do not even notice. I will definitely hire Tracy again. While showing him the bathroom, he spotted several things that need to be fixed, including some wood rot near certain places on the roof.

Showed up on time..........did work as described and proposed................cost was as priced..............very satisfied.

Circumstances changed and I was unable have the work done at all.

I am very happy with the end result. Mr. Roberts sent one of his workers out to perform the work as we had discussed prior. There was a bit of equipment malfunction but that was remedied in a very timely manner and the work was completed. The worker was very considerate and did a great job. I am hoping to use this provider in the future.

Tracy Roberts provided excellent service. His crew did an excellent job repairing many difficult issues in my old home. They also did an amazing job repainting the entire interior and exterior of the home. The remodeling of our deck was also very impressive. Overall, I am very satisfied with the price, work and with how quickly the work was done. The home now looks beautiful and ready for sale! Thanks Tracy!

We had a horrible experience with this company. We hired him to simply put in a new window and we had to wait two weeks for them to come back to trim the window. When they did finally come out, Mark, the workman, was working at 9:30 at night and trimmed the window incorrectly. They had to come back again to fix the mistakes. We have continuously asked Tracy for a receipt of the work and have not heard anything back from him. All we want is that written verification of the $300 that we paid him. We will never use him again and we do not recommend him.

After another contractor abandoned my bathroom remodel, I needed to find a competent and honest contractor who could pick up and finish the job. I found Tracy on Angie?s List and gave him a call. He called me back within 10 minutes, came the next day to give me an estimate, and started work within 2 days. He had workers here every day and on time and was in constant contact with us. The bathroom turned out beautifully and we couldn?t be a happier with the work. In addition to the bathroom, we also had French doors installed in our living room and crown molding around the ceiling in our bedroom. Everything was completed professionally and on time. Call Tracy if you need anything?he?ll take good care of you!

We ask Mr. Roberts for an estimate as we had to get two estimates and then the property owner decides who he wants to do the work.

We had several recommendations for handymen from family and friends, but we brought Tracy in for an estimate because he had such good reviews on AL. His quote was competitive, and they were able to begin work right away. They worked quickly considering the scope of everything they had to do and did quality work. Tracy was on site and keeps his guys working. The painting job was quality (two coats, clean trim lines, no drips on floor), and the custom shelving was excellent. The light fixture install and crown molding install turned out to require more work than they probably anticipated because of some complications, but they stuck with their quoted price. The drywall work was top notch. Tracy was very responsive to emails/calls/etc. I scored a B on professionalism because of some miscommunication during the estimate process. Tracy gave a "package" estimate for all the tasks without itemizing, and when we started tweaking some things, the estimate started inflating. Ultimately, we all got on the same page. In the end, we got quality work done at a competitive price. We will recommend Tracy to others and he is at the top of our list for the next round of projects we have.

The work was done quickly and was completed very well. The crew cleaned up after the job was done and the whole process was done in two days.
