The flood in my kitchen was covered for the most part by my homeowner's insurance. Mr. Wetherington is a general contractor as well as an insurance adjuster. He has dealt with many of the people who I was in communication with at my insurance company, including the claims adjuster, the mold remediation company, and the claims processor. This took a lot of the stress off of me. I first had mold remediation done. This cost an additional $3,100, which was paid for by my insurance. Any time there is a flood, the State of Florida requires mold remediation and inspection. After my kitchen was certified as mold free, I had a man from Busy Bee Cabinets, a subcontractor of Wetherington Restoration, measure the cabinets. After the measurments were taken, I picked out the new cabinets and counter tops. Everyone was very pleasant, professional, and punctual. It took a long time for the cabinets to be ready. I was without a kitchen for about 3 months, which was challenging. Mr. Wetherington informed me that it would take 4 to 5 weeks to get the cabinets from the time I ordered them. It actually took about 6 weeks, but it was a close estimate. Once the cabinets arrived, the installation went very quickly. The cabinet installers repainted my kitchen and cleaned up after the job was done. They even washed the kitchen floor. I was very impressed with the high level of professionalism that they demonstrated. Some of the delay was due to waiting for the insurance company to issue the funds for this project, however, it was worth it to have a brand new kitchen. I did spend an additional $600.00 on the cabinets to upgrade from particle board on the inside box part of the cabinet to wood. I love my new kitchen
Description of Work: I had a small flood in my kitchen due to a broken compression coupling in the kitchen faucet. The cabinets incurred water damage and mold developed behind the bottom cabinets in the drywall. This contractor replaced all the kitchen cabinets, top and bottom and replaced the counter tops.
