This was a custom job, not for a cabinet. Instead, it was to create or obtain 4 ~13?? slats and securely attach them to form a square. (To aid in moving a large tapered square plant container with a 1/8? ridge, ~ 6? from the top, this square (with metal braces on the corners) would be lifted up to catch against the ridge. Rick said that the corners of the square would not need braces, that nails and glue would do the job. Also, as I would be keeping the container (and the square around it) outside, that the wood needed to be treated for the outdoors. Also, that the sides of the square could be angled to be flush against the container. Price: $60. What I got was not angled, nor was it made from treated wood. Nor were the joints connected with nails and glue, but with staples. After about 5 to 10 uses, with the container only half full, a corner of the square gave way. I texted Rick a photo of the corner, and asked if he stood by his work. He?s made no response.

Added ideas and follow through. Works well within budget. Have received many compliments on their work. B

Custom cabinets (7' 8" long - 30"h- 6 doors - wall hung) for our lanai were installed approximately 2 wks after we met with Chester, 2 wks earlier than anticipated.. Excellent quality work, reasonable price. Project turned out great!

Had to call and remind about appointment a couple times. Was installing dishwasher in place of cabinet. Dish washer was supposed to sit flush but installer didn’t realize. Had to redo install

Our request was very small compared to his other jobs but they were very pleasant to deal with and very reasonably priced.

We needed to do a remodel on a very tight schedule, and asked Rick's Woodworking to do a very fast, slightly unusual job. We found them to be very responsive, adaptable, and managed to do our job with an impossible time table. The cabinets look great, the drawers have the slow close feature. We enjoyed working with a local company, owned by a local person, with a local shop.

Loved the Cabinets. seemed sturdy and well built. shelves slid and closed properly. Ended up very pleased with the laminate chosen with the lighter cabinet wood. Polished nickel egg shaped nobs, white kohler oblong sink..... both baths look terrific, and what I wanted. Chester and his helper were courteous, friendly, and communicative; a pleasure.

The material is outstanding...beautiful. BUT...the installation crew tore up the brand new vinyl floor. It was major damage and needs to be entirely replaced.
