Excellent. As promised, on time. Great people to work with.

It didn't go well, we saw an ad in the newspaper featuring their service. We tried to have them come out to give us a quote. Over email they asked how many square feet, I personally don't know and asked if they could come out and tell me how many square feet of sod I needed. I am looking to have my entire lawn done. They informed me they charge for quotes. I have a hard time paying someone to quote me for a job. I realize it takes time, but I also realize it's part of doing business. I never got to experience anything past a few emails back and forth. My experience has been disappointing so far.

Called the company for an estimate for sod.  Was told I had to supply the measurements of the area.  If they came out to measure, there would be a $50 charge.  I won't pursue this further.

The entire process was fantastic!
Called and spoke to Ann to ask about when someone could come out to look at the lawn and make recommendations about replacement sod. Ann came out with another man (forgot his name), and they made an assessment, measured and quoted a job.
Price was competitive and I liked Ann and her responsiveness to calls and messages. Scheduled for them to do the work.
The day before the work was scheduled, Ann called to let me know that because of the rains, they would be a day later, so we pushed it back a day.
Two trucks and 4 men (Jose, Juan, Pablo and Lino (Sp?)) showed up right on time with the sod. Jose spoke english very well. They got right to work with the sod cutter and proceeded to remove all of the sod. As the sod was being removed they started to hand grade the yard in preparation for the new sod. We had marked sprinklers, and discovered old pavers outlining an area around a cluster of ornamental shrubs, so we decided to use them and sod around them, creating an and quot;islandand quot; of the shrubs in the yard.
The sod they were laying looked to be fresh, with a nice dark soil base. I was told it had been fertilized and treated for bugs.
They began laying the sod and once the sod was down they fertilized it some more. They then went over the sod with a riding and quot;steam rollerand quot;.
After the installation we verified that the sprinklers all worked, and they left, took between 4 and 5 hours for 1,600 sf of yard.
They left very easy to understand directions for after-care and maintenance and Ann called soon after to confirm that all went well.
I am now nearly 5 weeks post installation and have cut the lawn twice and it looks like carpet, exactly what I wanted.

They did a very very good job. No problems, the quality was good. They brought it on time and put the sod where I wanted it. The sod that they left was good quality. They came back and picked up their pallets. They were quite reasonable compared to other companies I contacted.

I have had other lawn companies come out to estimate my lawn earlier in the week, but Maloney's Sod was the most professional, expert, quality company out of all of them. They really took the time to go over all of my options and all of my needs. So, I decided to have them rip out my old sod and install the new sod. What amazed me is kind the employees were to me during the process.They did such a wonderful job. They also answered all of my questions and concerns. They truly cared about making me happy and satisfied with this experience. So, after my lawn was installed, Mr.Maloney provided me with after-care tips and how to maintain my beautiful yard. The information is so reliable and easy to follow. Also, I went on their website and read such informative ways to always keep my grass beautiful!!! The whole experience was truly a joy and I would recommend them a million times over. A+++ company. Everything from their timely install, quality product and excellent owners and employees!!!!!! It went so smoothly and wa worth every single dollar!!!
