Signed a contract February 7, 2021 with a commitment by the owner Hans Menzer to start June 2021. Construction didn't start until February 3, 2022 after multiple stories from Hans about when he would start. He only started after I threatened a complaint to Florida DBPR. He did not pay the subcontractor who dug the hole so they put a lien on my house. Hole was dug and then no activity for weeks. Despite numerous stories and promises as of October 2022 the pool is still not complete and I terminated the contract with Flamingo Pools. I was charged for things I did not get and the work that was done is very poor quality. Deck pavers will have to be removed and reinstalled because they are poorly cut and not level. Drainage for the deck was never cut in. The pool screen cage failed the County inspection and fell down 2 days later during the hurricane. None of the 40 house around my house lost their cage during the hurricane. What does that tell you about quality? I have over 50 years experience dealing with construction and building contractors and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a pool contractor avoid this company. I would have selected 0 Stars but Google doesn't allow that. Their website says "Enjoy your pool 30 days from start" That has to be a joke. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Called multiple times. No return calls. We have tiles popping off our pool and pool deck is cracking. He left us a message that he would stop buy. He never did.

After two months the blower quit, called Flamingo pool back to  let him know that the blower had quit working, called him about ten times, he refused to returned my phone call,he called me back and said stop calling my office anymore that it won't get done any  faster, since then he refused to call nor come to honor the warranty, Since then he is not honoring the warranty.

I am unhappy with the LACK of service, the LACK of responsiveness, and being billed for a full month of service when Flamingo was aware that no service had occurred. This is the final straw.  In the past when Sue (our regular technician) took time off, our pool turned green, when I called to complain about it, I was told that the owner's wife had done the service.  I just want reliable service, or a professional response to a complaint.

The service went really well and was prompt once they answered my 2nd call. Hans scheduled the wash the next day and his staff came out promptly in the afternoon as scheduled. The two young men got right to work but they did not wear gloves, masks and did not use the brushes. Their pump had lost the muffler and so it was loud but the boys did a good job and tried to please by running the water where I asked. It was done in less than 4 hours and looks good. The next day Ray followed up but the Pool was not full so he came on Friday at 8am promptly and even replace a big O ring on my filter. He cays he will be back next week for the final inspection but the pool is looking very nice. The mineral content of the water is much lower with the refill and the dark stains are gone from the pebble tech.

Flamingo Pool and greatly appreciated the owner's (Hans Menzer) personal
touch in overseeing the project and ensuring that our every concern was
met. We were particularly pleased with the flexibility shown in the
design of our pool -- Hans allowed us to considerable leeway regarding
the many factors which go into constructing the right pool for our
needs. Being that this was our first pool we had many questions. At all
times Hans was responsive and showed much patience in helping us
understand all facets of our pool's operation. Plus his crew was top
notch! Again we have been delighted with our pool and would recommend
Flamingo Pools to others.

Filled the pool before the coping was completely grouted. Finished grouting and most grout ended up in pool. Drained pool, acid wash, refilled pool. Dumped grout mixture and epoxy bond materials in yard and in canal waterway. Materials dumped in yard killed mature landscaping. Besides leaving the usual trash from lunches, one worker urinated in the driveway. Pool deck paver's were laid in wrong pattern because of "miscommunication" at their shop, in other words, they didn't read the contract. The new pool surface is full of gouges and pock marks. One of their crew members was to come out in the evening to inspect while pool light was on. He "forgot" to come out so the owner of Flamingo Pool, Hans Menzer, recommended this solution, "leave the pool pump running so the pool surface is not visible and get a second pool light to cover the shadows of the imperfections." Enough said.
