Mark came on a Saturday to ain't our new front door and sidelines. He spent several hours in hot FL heat carefully painting. Can't be happier with the results.

We hired five star painting to paint the exterior of our house. Mark was very professional and friendly. He and his crew did an amazing job. They were very respectful of our property and our house looks great!

We discovered Five Star Painting of Punta Gorda when driving by another home in the neighborhood they were working on. Having painting experience ourselves, we noted the level of preparation and attention to detail being given. Preparation is key. We called Rich to give us a bid. He was timely in meeting with us, had a formula for how he calculates the bid, broke the bid down into sections so we fully understood how he arrived at his amount and he presented us with options. We also appreciated that when we asked him about their painting process from prep to completion, he was able to speak to it with strong technical knowledge. After accepting the bid, the work was scheduled timely and we were contacted by the project manager Mark. Mark communicated with us daily and throughout the course of the work. We valued his conscientiousness, attention to detail, communication and flexibility. He has a good relationship with his crew. The crew was skilled, methodical and respectful. The painting prep was thorough with pressure washing, spray bleach to mitigate any residual mold spores, scraping, patching holes/cracks, priming and taping off. Two coats of high quality paint we picked were applied. We watched the work and were happy with the process. There was little need to intervene or express concern. We would recommend Five Star of Punta Gorda and we may be in touch again with them for kitchen cabinets. Thank you Rich, Mark & crew!

Due to Hurricane Ian my house had damage inside and out. 5 Star Painting repaired the ceiling in my master bedroom due to water damage as well as painting the entire room. They also repaired the ceiling in my lanai due to wind damage and painted the entire outside of my home as well. Rich the owner has a great crew of people. Mark who over sees the working crew and the jobs is fantastic. He has so much to do yet delivers on all. As for the crew, I had Nelson as the lead who is a perfectionist. Leonardo et.al. were neat and efficient. They were well organized. Eventually I will want my interior painted and can't wait to see this crew again.

Working with Mark and Five Star was a very good experience. Mark was communicative and professional and his crew did excellent work. They painted ceilings and some walls after damage from Hurricane Ian. I felt like we were in good hands the whole time, at a time when finding contractors has been difficult due to high demand. Mark stayed in touch periodically so I never worried that we had dropped off his radar, and after our ceilings were repaired, it was not a long wait to get our job scheduled. Ceilings and walls look great. The crew was polite, professional, dod good work, and cleaned up well after. Very good experience. Highly recommend.

Workers were well organized, on time, and paid attention to detail. The owner was conscientious about making phone calls and keeping me informed. Everyone was reliable. A job well done and I would recommend them to anyone.

Professional and efficient

Overall a nice job on a ceilings only project. I had some surface cracks in two areas to repair one turned out satisfactory and the other was not as good. They did send a painter back to fix the problem but the solution was not acceptable.

Excellent communication, quality of work and speed of project completion. A high level of competence demonstrated by all crew members. Completely satisfied.

Our home is beautiful. We are picky and looked at everything and there are no complaints. The painters are very meticulous and really nice to work with. They did a great job and we would hire them again. Rich explained the process and there was a foreman that came out each day to check the work. Wait til its done then they backtrack over the tiniest spots to fill in gaps as expected on a home. Would recommend them again.

Rich and Mark went way beyond what was expected for perfection. Definitely will keep them for future projects.

5 star painting was exactly what their name says. The moment I submitted a request for a quote I was contacted right away to schedule an appointment to look at the job. Rich was great. He arrived on time, spoke with professionalism, and the quote I was given was fairly priced. After agreeing on the job, his team arrived and performed the job to perfection. Rich was great to work with. The painters came when they said they would be here. The price was very responsible. The painters did a great job painting the outside of the house. Everyone was very polite and courteous. I Would recommend Five Star painting and I would use Five Star painting again.
