Ryan is the greatest. Very professional. He kept me in the loop the entire process. He was very patient and again very professional. I would use him again (Hopefully won't have to) and refer him to anyone who asked.
Always showed up on time and even came on a Sunday to finish up. Ryan and his workers are the best.
I've never seen such incompetence. His insurance adjuster came out and said they aren't required to pay for his poor workmanship and refused to pay us. The fact that he's still licensed and insured is appalling! Don't be another victim. Do Not Hire Him!!
In response to Ryan Hirst's , Fiberglass Pool Doctor, comments: This company ruined our pool. TWICE. Why would I allow you to work on the pool yet another time??? We requested a refund and were refused.
The insurance company that represents Fiberglass Pool Doctor did NOT deny the claim because it was installed correctly as Ryan Hirst claims. They denied the claim because they don't pay for the contractors INCOMPETENCE!
We have since been required to hire someone to repair this damage. We found Resurection Pools on Angie's List and hired them to do the repair. They were appalled at the state of this pool. They had to spend twice as long to remove all of this coating and then had to apply more layers of gel coating to correct the damage. It now looks wonderful and we're very grateful to them for their timely and professional completion of the job. If you need pool work, by all means hire Resurection Pools. DO NOT hire Fiberglass Pool Doctor. He is incompetent and dishonest and he will damage your pool.
"[Member Name], I am sorry you are unhappy and having problems. I have tried to remedy this with you and you refuse to allow me on your property. I looked at my records and your pool was resurfaced with epoxy in April of 2012 for $6000.00 and $3000.00 was for converting your pool to saltwater and re-doing all your plumbing, 3 way valves and check valves and changing your plumbing over from 1-1/2" to 2." There was extensive work that had to be done to your shell from the damage caused by it having been previously resurfaced. When my insurance adjuster went to look at your pool, you again refused to allow me onto the property. The adjusters reason for denying the claim was because I did install the coating correctly and they found no fault. Please contact me with any further concerns via email. Thank you"
"Thank you for your response. I appreciate your call."
"Thank you for your review, we appreciate you and your time. It was a pleasure working for you."
We met Ryan at our pool, a 27 X 9 pool with poorly done coping and many stains, some areas of chipped gel coat. He also took us to a pool he recently redid. He explained the structure of the pool, the material options and costs. Since we recently purchased the home, and this was the first big ticket item we tackled, we opted for a lower cost job. Ryan is a very good listener and patiently answered all our questions, in phone calls, emails and in person. He knows fiberglass and pools. He took a lot of time cleaning the surface of the pool, removing the coping and grinding down the cement the coping was applied over. The surface was in very bad shape. He worked alone over three days, except when applying the epoxy coating. He came back the day after epoxy coating and we refilled the pool. We are very appreciative of the time and effort Ryan put in; the result is a pool we can share with family and friends.
"Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review for our company and thank you for being a great customer to work for. We appreciate your business!"
"Thank you so much for taking the time to respond on Angie's List, it was a pleasure working for you."
