Great. Although his estimate was high, I chose this company for professionalism, attention to detail and a great job overall. they are returning this week to paint my garage door.

I received three bids on our project, and Ron was the highest of the three. Nevertheless, I received such strong recommendations from several friends who also hired Ron Akers, that I went with his reputation over saving some money. I could not have been happier with the quality and the attention to detail Ron and his crew provided. I requested a higher rated paint then what he originally recommended and he worked very hard at getting it for a reduced price for me. His crew completely power washed my roof and required areas, repaired all cracks where they are completely invisible now, and repaired sagging drywall on the ceiling in the lanai. The other painters never even acknowledged these fundamental problem areas nor was thinking about them until he pointed them out. So glad Ron completed such a thorough assessment of pre-paint requirements. In addition, we hired a professional decorator from Aurthur Rutenburg construction who selected the paint colors. Ron and his crew worked diligently with her to get every step right. Could not have asked for a more professional painter. I contacted Ron approximately one month after the job was finished to point out an area that I thought could use some attention. He sent crew members and they rectified the problem immediately; not questioning my judgement or making it an issue. We are thinking about having our interior painted and would not hesitate to rehire Ron Akers and his crew for that job when the time comes.

They did an outstanding job! We we very impressed with their neatness, work and overall attitude with the project. Everything was done as promised in the exact time frame stated. We would definitely highly recommend them to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about this company. All the workers were prompt each day, polite and meticulous in all they did. The woodwork and doors of our home were originally painted with an oil based paint, then subsequent owners used latex, so there was a lot of bubbled and peeling paint. Akers' painters sanded and scraped with diligence, so now, with the repainting, everything looks fresh and new. Louvered closet doors were also sanded and scraped and even removed to be sprayed at an off site location. Rehung they look amazing too! Because of previous dark colors in some rooms, extra surprise coats were required, but Mr. Akers, who was on the job with his men each day, stuck by his original estimate. :-) Although the Akers estimate was the highest of the four I received, the quality of the job completed was well worth the price. I feel certain other painters would have upped their prices once they saw the extra work the coverage required.

Ron, the owner was exceptionally courteous, friendly and professional. This job was difficult. I was living in Buffalo, I bought the 2100 SF house in Deep Creek in July and it was well worn. I needed a great interior painting job and I got it. I was lucky enough to just happen to call Akers Painting and Decorating. Ron quoted the job and said the only opening that he had was the first week of November. I was moving in, on the 14th of November. My Wife and I picked out colors, emailed them to Ron and he had color samples made up and sent overnight to us to review and approve. The job took about a week. He had numerous repairs to make to the walls and ceilings. He removed the doors and spray painted them so as not to have brush marks. I wanted a professional paint job from pro's. I did not want a cheap job from someone the decided the week before, he was a painter! The job was exceptional. The lines were crisp with no errors at all, that I could see. We were absolutely thrilled with the results. I will never use another painter, ever again! I highly recommend Akers Painting and Decorating. His painting, communication and professionalism is unmatched!!!

Ron Akers, the owner, was prompt in giving us a quote when we called. Presented himself as a friendly professional and he and his crew completed the work in one day, the entire home (not including trim and doors). Very neat, cut in work at ceiling and baseboards was great. Will definitely use them again as I may need other work completed. A pleasure doing business with him.

They did a fantastic job. The work was done quickly, neatly and excellently. Everyone we came in contact with was responsive and professional. We have no reason to use anyone else for future work.

They do excellent work. We have used them at least 3 separate times. They are very prompt, professional, their work is very neat, and they clean up. I couldn't ask for better painters. Their pricing is very reasonably for their quality of work. They are usually able to get here within a day or two from when we call. They are on time or even early. They are very precise in what the job is going to cost, what they are going to do for the job. We have been real happy.

It was excellent from start to finish. He brought four guys in who moved all the furniture, painted two coats, and were finished in one day. They arrived at 7 and were gone by 3. The price was cheaper for their two coats than quotes from other companies were for one coat. We liked them so much that we're having them back for the other three rooms in our house.
