Charles came and met with us a few days before the work was to be done. He went over what was going to happen. He explained how many workers he was going to use (4 in total). By the end of the first day, the guest bathroom was completely stripped. Charles went to Lowes with me and got all the stuff for the renovation and brought it back to the house. Charles hauled all the major garbage to the dump. At the end of each day, Charles explained what they were going to do the next day. They had the tub and the surround walls in and the ceramic tile. Charles used tile for the walls and lined up the tiles on the wall, for base board, to match the tiles on the floor. He also ran tile up the wall along the surround wall and across back down to the floor the next day. The next day they grouted the floor and put in the toilet, the vanity and sink. The next day the put in the medicine cabinet, towel rack, toilet paper holder and the lighting. The next day they had the master bathroom completely stripped by the end of the day. I went from a stanard tub to a spa tub for the master bathroom. Charles took it in stride. He had to build a platform for the tub to sit on. He then had to build a wall for it so it could fit in. He then had to run electricity to the tub. He also put in the surround wall for the tube. He then got the ceramic tile down. The next day he grouted the floor and put in the toilet, vanity and sink. He again used the tile for a base board in this bathroom. The next day he put in the medicine cabinet, lighting, towel rack, handicap bar and toilet paper holder. Bith bathrooms are done! Charles called a couple of days later to make sure we were happy with his work and we are. We have a few more projects that we will be getting a hold of him to do. Charles also protected our floors, the whole time they were working, by placing cardboard on the floors. Iwas even allowed to watch them work and ask questions. It was a great experience.
