Southern Screen Solutions Inc.

BUYER BEWARE. Back on May 30th we went under contract with Southern Screen Solutions to build our screened patio/terrace. On June 1st we payed the deposit. On June 12th we called them for a status update and we got no response. On August 4th we called them for a status update and again no response. On August 5th we called them again and no response. On August 11th we were able to get a hold of one of their employees only to find out that the county had sent back the permit application due to an error on their end. This is 2 and a half months after we signed the contract and payed our deposit. After a few more exchanges with him, they scheduled us to start building on the week of October 16th. The entire week went by with no communication from these individuals. We contacted them on Friday October 20th only to hear the new excuse. This time around the buildings department was allegedly requesting extra information from them and this was holding the project. On October 27th we received the latest excuse which was apparently the company was sold to someone else. Again, one story after another. This went on until November 13th with no resolution, poor communication and still no start date in sight. We were kept in the dark for way too long. After almost 6 months we decided to cut ties with these individuals and request our deposit back. This company and individuals were unprofessional, deceptive and deflective. Do not waste your time with them.

My project was a 23x35 screened in porch off our back triple slider doors. About 700 sq ft of new bug-free living space. James, the owner, knows his stuff inside our and upside down. His price quote was roughly there same as two others we got. His demeanor and obvious knowledge of all parts of doing the job gave me great confidence so I hired him. And the job turned out absolutely great. We're very happy!

They showed up when they said they would or they contacted me and informed me if there was a glitch. Great quality work. They did what we agreed upon at the price we agreed upon. I had the roof on my screen porch replaced and the porch screened.

James was awesome from the beginning of this project to the finished product. I love our new patio and we have gotten several compliments on it. James was very professional , he communicates promptly and he stands behind his work.

James Renie is a standup honest business man. I hired him to expand my lanai and to screen it in. At the last minute i got a better offer and price and let james Know. If i were him I would have been angry. Not james he listened and thanked me for calling him. he was polite straight forward and a MAN. He said call him if anything changes . It did . Small world. No problem. I am going with Southern Screen Solutions. This is a special business man. honest straight forward and you can bet you get what you pay for. I am a 73 year old man who has used many contractors in my time. He ranks as one of the best. if you are looking to do this kind of work he is worth every penny to hire him. You have no worries he will deliver.

Fantastic job all around at a fair price. Communication throughout the process was excellent. James delivered exactly as promised within the time frame expected. Couldnâ t be happier with patio screen enclosure and front screen door enclosure. Highly recommend.
