We are an award winning custom home builder and contractor. We do remodels, and any size repair work for both residential and commercial. We have a Certified General Contractor, an Engineer and handy men on staff. As well, we are licensed in Mold Remediation, Thermography, and Real Estate. Since inception in 2012 we have developed a diverse client base ranging in projects from new home builds, commercial and residential kitchen renovations to bathroom remodels. We would be happy to share photos of our work or referrals. We are fully licensed and insured. Quotes are always free.

Overall design and quality of work was very good, for the most part. Owner assisted in selecting best materials and provided subcontractors. That being said, communication with owner was poor as she was unresponsive to email or phone contact. Project which should have taken 3 months tops, took over a year to complete as a result of workers on the site only occasionally. Even after offering a substantial incentive, the deadlines were missed. Needed to hire others to complete the work, and even paid one of her subs directly. Would not recommend for a large-scale remodel, and have hired others to do similar work on other projects in Port St Lucie with better communication and much faster results.

"I am sorry to read this review as the contact was signed, Feb 2021 and the final invoice was in November 2021, almost 2 years ago. This project needed permits for windows, doors, and a roof. The permits caused delays as did the materials, something I have no control over. Also, during this time frame everything was moving slower as covid was causing extreme delays. A project manager was assigned to this and did take numerous calls throughout the project and our client was informed whenever there was an issue. The remodel looked great, was finished without any major cost adjustments, and yes, he was involved with my subs without my knowledge. When we were hired, we didn't not promise that we were the quickest. My subs do not have subs so unfortunately when there is a hicccup I cannot move one team from one project to another. I have found that that causes more head ache then a delay of a few days."

Loved working with Bobbi but she has assured me she would not use the carpenter again. He does not pay attention to details and is argumentative and disagreeable. The job took a little longer than promised.

It is obvious that Bobbi enjoys her work, especially when taking her customers to her "candy stores" to pick out the perfect color combinations and décor details. She is quick to interpret her customer's desires into practical updates. The primary downside is that, due to COVID, our vanity selections took 7 weeks from order to delivery, which extended our upgrade from an estimated 4 week job to 11 weeks. This caused Bobbi's normal project management to be less than expected. In addition, the plumber assigned to the upgrade did not perform well at all. He did not have the correct parts needed nor did he seem to be able to find them on his own. He spent most of his time finding excuses rather than completing his tasks. With the exception of the plumber, all other contractors were very good and performed well. The cost of the upgrade was very reasonable and the results are outstanding. Overall, we would recommend Bobbi for your upgrade.

This was a problem free adventure. Bobbi is excellent to work with and she has great taste and advice. Her contractors were very helpful, skillful, and professional. I have my Master Bath to do next, and I canâ t wait to see how this one turns out! If it is anywhere close to the hall bathroom, my wife and I will be extremely happy with VanWal once again.

It seemed to take forever (it really didn’t though) and there was some miscommunication here and there with subcontractors over which Bobbi had no control but the job was done at a fair price and so beautifully that we sometimes just stand there looking and smiling.

Not very good at coordinating. Waited around 3-4 times for contractors and nobody would show up. Poor communication. The final product is okay but remains unfinished after three + weeks and I will probably have to complete it myself. Had to put down own drop clothes for some of the contractors that were bringing potentially damaging supplies (Wet mortar, Grout) across the new carpet.

"This bath came out beautiful. My glass installer is great, however, as I explained, because he covers a lot of Florida, there are times when he can't go in the window that is expected and sometimes coordinating with him is a challenge but it is a compromise I make because his product is wonderful and pricing reasonable. On another example, we needed to grout one area however, when my guys went to the gate, Robert didn't let them in as it was a Saturday. I am sorry that he gave me this review as things were progressing nicely until my glass guy was a no show on a certain day"

They took the money (nearly 7k) and never finished the work. I made the mistake of paying them before work was complete. It has become painfully obvious to me that work is not going to be complete and insult to injury I am going to have to hire someone to finish the work and hire someone to remove debris from the bathroom gutting.

Unfortunately we did not want to complete the second bath for him as he had another contractor initially doing the work and asked us to fix it. The only way to do it right was to start from scratch. Everything else had been completed. We were his 3rd contractor"

Bobbi was great to work with and coordinated every aspect of the project. The people that came to do the work were very professional and made sure we were happy with the progress of the job. I would hire them again if I started another remodel project in my home.

Like any project involving multiple parts and coordination of different people there were a few bumps but that was early on, overall the project went smoothly. My new shower is better than imagined, the new linen closet is huge and I love the overall results.

Bobbi was especially attentive to my disabled husband's needs during the remodel of our bathroom. She took him into consideration with every detail. The men who did the work were respectful, neat and we came to look forward to them arriving. As for cost, that's Bobbi's specialty! Our final bill was over $2000 less than her estimate! And she brought samples of materials for us to see so that we were sure of our choices. All in all I highly recommend Vanwal Contracting!

Contractor never stayed on the job, she relied on one of her employees for everything, he was grumpy and refused to do alot of things we asked, it took 3 times to try and correct painting, I had to hire a different painter, The electrician and plumber and shower door installation and flooring was terrific job very satisfied. The vanity issue caused many delays and more money.

I am sorry that you felt I wasn't there enough but over the time period of waiting for the vanity I couldn't stop in everyday or to just send someone for 5 minutes work on a day to day routine wasn't efficient either. When all the materials came in and everything could have been wrapped up we did exactly that. I know that that bathroom is a showpiece and that all of your neighbors have commented on it and I am sorry that the vanity caused such issues"

The work done was good. There was one problem after another with the house that slowed the project. So what should have been a week and a half, turned into 3 weeks. This was not VanWal's fault, just issues that kept coming up. The bathroom in the end turned out great and I am very happy with it.
